Pros:
The Impala is one of the nicest sedans I have ever driven. I bought it new and I enjoyed for every mile I had it. The gas miliage is unbeatable for a 6 cylinder. I just traded it in for a 2010 Equinox, only because I needed a larger cargo area, although the trunk space is amazing, especially when the seats were down.
The Impala is a great car and I would recomend it to anyone...

Pros:
Gas mileage exceeds expectation. I get 30-33 MPG on trips following speed limits to 5 MPH over. It is just the right size and the trunk is quite spacious. It has been a pleasure to drive.

I had always driven Olds. but when no longer available, bought the Impala. I am pleasantly surprised.

Pros:
We had an 2001 Impala which was very dependable, great gas mileage (32 highway). We drove it to very high mileage (200K). It was easy to make a decision to make our new car another Impala! The SS option caught my eye. It has been a great car, fun to drive, and it passes any car in my way.
Cons:
I added blind spot mirrors on the side mirrors so it makes it easy to drive in traffic.
Overall review:
I like my car. Highway driving is 28mpg.

Pros:
One of the nicest vehicles I've owned. Sunroof, leather, heated seats, 3.9L engine, good acceleration, gas mileage (24-25 in town, 28 hwy). Brakes - have 88K miles (checked every 10K) and still don't need new ones. Despite below, I still like the ride..
Cons:
I drive a lot (60K in < 2yrs.) Had trouble w/alignment at 48K and wore out new tires (only 18K miles) Probably my fault due to poor choice of alignment specialist/person. Since new tires (3rd set) at 65K, tires have worn evenly. Also, A/C died at 78K; transmission died at 85K. No warranty so I've spent $4K in last 6 months. Otherwise pretty good.
Overall review:
I drive what I consider a lot. Bought as 'certified used' program car in 8/08 w/27K miles. I'd rate it between the 7 - 8 range but would be hesitant to recommend.

Pros:
I really like the way it looks, the style and I have the new gold mist mettallic I love it. I also have the sunroof and spoiler bar. Its a nice sized car and feels very sturdy. It handles well in the snow and ice and I dont even have the stability control that they now have on impalas. It would take an awful lot for me to give up my impala.
Cons:
The drivers seat isnt real comfortable, its a little hard I have heard this from other people about the seat.s The positions on the back part of the seat dont really fit my back well, it seems that my shoulders cant rest on the seat just my lower back does. the upper part of the seat always seems farther back than I would like it no matter how I adjust it.I did realize this when I test drove the car but thought I would get used to it. I am always adjusting the seat. Gas mileage could be better, I guess for this size car its ok.Not to much leg room in the back if you have long legs. But I still love every thing my car!
