Go Green with Nissan! by RidnGreen from Sacramento on 08/23/2007. Trim: 2007 Nissan Altima Hybrid 2.5 [Limited Availability], Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Great look, great performance for its class, great value!
Cons: Needs more comfortable seats and not enough ala carte options.
Overall review: I tried the Prius and Camry before buying the Altima. Considering the quality, price, mpg, styling and other factors of each, I felt the Altima was the best value. I am very happy with the car.

Reduce your Use (a little bit anyway) by Sean from Avenel, NJ on 04/03/2007. Trim: 2007 Nissan Altima Hybrid 2.5 [Limited Availability], Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: plenty of power for not a lot of gas. and i just love seeing that ev mode light up telling me "no gas! no emissions! you're not supporting the war machine for this brief moment in time!!!"
Cons: it takes a little bit of getting used to the jerky transmission...seems to be around 60 mph it feels weird. and i read that the hybrids in europe have a switch for the ev mode so you can run exclusively on the battery. gee i wonder why they don't have that in the U.S. model?!!
Overall review: very nice car. would recommend to anyone trying to reduce their impact on the environment.

A Really Great Car by Collin - Las Vegas on 03/15/2007. Trim: 2007 Nissan Altima Hybrid 2.5 [Limited Availability], Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: I am hesitant to give this vehicle a perfect score but it really does deserve it. I have had the car for 6 days now and I could not be happier. It's fast. It's great looking inside and out. The interior is very nice. Nissan could easily put an Infinity badge on this car and sell for $5,000 more. The basic vehicle with the $1300 package is a very well equipped car. I will certainly get between 600 and 700 miles on a tank of gas! Back sets are as comfy as the front seats. 9 cup holders! Nice storage covers. Nice Instrument Panel! I declare that I am the first Nissan Altima Hybrid in Las Vegas. I purchased the car in Ontario, California and drove it home on March 10th, 2007. Any challengers?
Cons: The packages are too 'bundled'. I wanted a moonroof but it was in a package that would have raised the price by over $6,000. If some of the larger items were available individually I would be slightly happier. The trunk is small but that appears to be the only sacrifice.
Overall review: Very happy. This could be the perfect automobile.... Japanese Design and Quality, Built in Smyrna, Tennessee. Great Looking. Great on Gas. And, most importantly, Environmentally Responsible!!!!

Fun Fast Hybrid by Anthony from South Florida on 06/17/2012. Owned 5 years.
Pros: Surprisingly fast for 4 cyl. Love styling over other hybrids.
Cons: Engine start/stop between electric and gas is a little rough and takes getting use to. trunk very small. I'm having a strange problem with the radio where some push buttons don't work and the volume sticks and won't go up or down.
Overall review: Very nice car, but I should have got the 3.5

Not a boring hybrid. by Frank in Rhode Island on 01/22/2011. Trim: 2007 Nissan Altima Hybrid 2.5 [Limited Availability], Owned 3 years.
Pros: Fun to drive. Better performance than Toyota Camry Hybrid. Decent gas mileage.
Cons: Gas mileage not as good as listed on sticker. Consistently 33 mpg. Expected higher mileage. Higher price paid for hybrid model not worth it. Limited trunk space due to batteries.
Overall review: Really good car. Economical to operate. Fun to drive. Good gas mileage. Not recommended if you do mostly highway driving. Best mileage in city.
