"Package of FUN!!" by James, baton Rouge, LA on 02/25/2009. Trim: 2007 BMW Z4 Roadster 3.0si, Owned 1 year.

Pros: This car is a blast to drive. I just came off a 2004 Honda S2000 and I can tell you cornering and acceleration are leaps and bounds over the Honda. This power band on the engine is wide and smooth with powerful shifts in the sport mode and strong downshifts. Having a convertable is all about fun with lgood ooks and this car has both in spades.
Cons: The sport suspension is a bit rough on everyday roads, but the price you pay for great looking wheels and handleing.
Overall review: I've had the car almost a year now, it was 18 months old when I baught it. Everything has worked like a charm from day one and fit a finish is top notch. This being close to the last years of this body style all the buggs have been worked out so I have no complaints there. Plenty of room for overnight bags and the cockpit fits two people comfortably. Suprise on this car is just how fast it really is. Hit the gas with the sport mode on and it jumps off the line, but the suprising thing is how it keeps going and going thanks to the wide power band. The acceleration just doesn't let up(ever).....I haven't reached the top yet anyway. It gets the looks, is fun to drive and so far has been very reliable. What more can you ask of a sports car. Love IT!!

BMW Z4 3.0i Roadster by An MSN Autos Consumer on 02/21/2008. Trim: 2007 BMW Z4 Roadster 3.0i, Owned 1 year.

Pros: Premium Pkg, Metallic Paint, Adaptive Xenons, Heated Seats, Power Soft Top ,SMOOTH suspension and the handling is great, car is GLUED to the ground. Amazingly, the retuned suspension for 2006- and on models is unbelievable. You get both razor sharp handling and a smooth ride, Seating position is great, very comfortable car and quality material is 9/10. Also check out the insulation at 65 mph (almot no noise) at 80 mph (very little noise). Boxster is good alternative but it will NOT give you the material quality and driver cmfort and pampering of BMW, Porsche is 100% sport. SLK 350 is a good but I dont like the style. Audi TT is for women, and Honda S2000 is Joke, Honda vs BMW (LOL)
Cons: One word of caution, no matter what your BMW dealer, friends, etc tell you, DO NOT GET A Z4 WITH THE SPORT PKG/SUSPENSION. I used to drive one of those before and the ride is not just harsh its out-right Unforgiving due to the combonation of Run Flat Tires and a very stiff Sport-Tuned suspension for the Sport pkg. You will feel every bump, pothole, imprefection on both highways and roads, after a while it becomes more of a headache. Thats the only reason that the standard suspension was revised for 2006, 2007 and 2008. BMW will not tell you that though.
Overall review: Before I began, I must tell you that this is one of few UNBIASED reviews of 2007 BMW Z4 3.0i Roadster. Here, you will get all the facts that you need. Let us begin.... Without any doubt, this car on a scale from 1-10 handels at a 10, this is not an exaggeration, this car is literally glued to the ground, I do 80 mph sharp turns with no effort. (even thought I have the standard suspension) NO sport package. The revised suspension (2006 and on and ONLY for standard suspension Z4's NOT one with Sport Pkg) is so great and so smooth that its almost too funny to believe. With the standard suspension, this car has the best balance between Roadster performance and a luxury brand car, which it is. Imagin this, it is both smooth riding and glued to the ground at same time! what more can you ask for? Make sure you get a Metallic color, Premium pkg is a must (bluetooth, dimming, etc), Power soft top is a must, adaptove Xenons are also a must. Drive the car your self and you will see.

Great car by An MSN Autos Consumer on 11/09/2013. Trim: 2007 BMW Z4 Roadster 3.0i, Owned 6 years.

Pros: Great looking...fast and fun to drive. The power top can be operated with the key before entering. With the addition of a wind deflector you can drive most of the year (in Tennessee anyway) with the top down. The trunk isn't huge but big enough for a couple of overnight bags and some souvenirs.
Cons: The "run flat" tires wear out quickly and damage easily. I plan to experiment with another type next time I need tires.
Overall review: Great car. I've owned an 07 for about 4 years with very little maintenance (except some wheel damage, again caused by those darn run flat tires).
