2007 Outlander 4WD XLS is an amazing vehicle by Bill from Friday Harbor, WA on 02/12/2012. Trim: 2007 Mitsubishi Outlander XLS 4WD, Owned 4 years.

Pros: This is an amazing vehicle. I bought mine new 5 years ago and it still looks, rides, feels, and handles like it did originally.
Cons: nothing
Overall review: Consumers Reports continues to put the current generation Outlander in its ratings. I love that you don't see every vehicle on the road be an Outlander but, at the same time, Mitsubishi needs to have more U.S. sales. I had one major issue with the vehicle. When it was 4 years old the electronics for the trasmission needed to be replaced. Mitsubishi put my Outlander on a truck, hauled it on a ferry 18 miles to the mainland, gave me a loaner at no charge, and replaced everything even though they couldn't replicate the problem. Now...that's going, pun intended, the extra mile!

Relaible cross over that runs for ever by An MSN Autos Consumer on 09/08/2011. Trim: 2007 Mitsubishi Outlander ES 2WD, Owned 4 years.

Pros: This my 4th Mitsubishi and as usual never been disappointed, I beleive it is better than a lot of other japs. car out there but I don't know why it is not as popular. It Drives very nice, very Reliable, Confortable seats and roomy interior, Decent milage for a cross over. Good towing capacity and ground clearence. Powerful V-6 Engine. Looks good and runs good wiyhout any problem. and the most important part the wife loves it.
Cons: Interior finishing scratchs easily, Body hardware and trims could be better. only one power outlet in this car.
Overall review: This is a very good car to keep for a long time. My last Montero sport was 7.5 yerars old and had 170,000 miles, and it was still running like new. Never been at the Dealership except for mantenance, and was sold in a week of listing. I never had a problem with these cars they do run for ever if you mantaine it well. I will buy Mitsubishi Products at any time with confident.

Incredible value for your money by An MSN Autos Consumer on 04/01/2009. Trim: 2007 Mitsubishi Outlander XLS 4WD, Owned 2 years.

Pros: Everything comes standard, and similarly equipped in other competitor would add $5000 to price. Trunk door is my favorite feature for outdoorsy needs (changing snowboard boots, hiking boots, etc). Handles better than BMW & Subaru in deep snow with 4 wheel lock feature.
Cons: A few minor quality issue (trunk, and steering wheel made noise), and interior styling could be more plush. Visors are allittle cheap.
Overall review: Incredible value for cross over and great external styling!

This Crossover ROCKS! by K-Dog on 03/08/2008. Trim: 2007 Mitsubishi Outlander XLS 4WD, Owned 1 year.

Pros: Performance, performance, performance! Fuel efficiency for size (avg 26 hwy); tons of leg room for ALLl passengers; high quality sound system with sirius radio, gps and handsfree bluetooth phone interface (n/a in Toyota and Honda); onboard computer with storage for music; hatch back with tailgate that opens down instead of from side (genious!); factory installed heated seats (n/a in Toyota). Very little maintenance required and uses unleaded Regular fuel instead of Premium (n/a in Mazda).
Cons: Interior finish made of less expensive plastic material that scratches easily, headroom for back seat passengers
Overall review: Overall, an excellent vehicle for the price compared to Toyota RAV, Honda CRV and Mazda MX-7 or MX-9. Although slightly lower MPG, much more comfort and more comprehensive list of options than the competition. Finally a crossover that appears to be well thought out ... designed with actual consumer needs in mind instead of engineers.
