Excellent all-around vehicle by Josh from Frederick on 06/05/2012. Trim: 2007 Honda Civic Hybrid CVT AT-PZEV w/ Nav, Owned 5 years.

Pros: Excellent fuel economy when you don't try to drive it like a Corvette or like your old V8 beast. Very quiet driving. Sound system is excellent.
Cons: The seats can get a bit uncomfortable - definitely recommend some sort of lumbar pillow if you have long commutes (this was the main thing preventing me from giving it higher marks on the Interior). Sometimes driving uphill can make you wish for a bigger engine.
Overall review: I have noticed other people complaining about the mileage being poor, which I would attribute more to driving habits than capability of the vehicle. Where I live in Maryland is very hilly and I still manage over 49 mpg, sometimes over 50. It can be done, one just needs to understand that quick acceleration, trying to maintain 65-70 uphill, idling, warming up the car, etc, will cause mpg to go down (especially idling/warming up the car as you are registering 0 mpg the entire time). The car handles excellent around corners and in all kinds of weather and is easy on the tires (my original set lasted over 74,000 miles). While it doesn't specifically say it in the manual, I have found better performance is achieved when using premium gas. That really isn't a big issue because you're typically looking at a difference of $1-$2 on a fill up when compared to regular since the gas tank isn't big (I typically fill up around 9.2-9.5 gallons).

increasingly a lemon by An MSN Autos Consumer on 03/20/2013. Owned 6 years.

Pros: its a good size for my family, when it was new it was a great car preformed just ask advertised an i loved it for about 8k miles
Cons: DECREASED MPG (and im a certified sunday driver) .my transmition is starting to get a little hinky(im at 60k miles) and in the past year it has become increasingly loud on the road. BATTERY ISSUES TIRE ISSUES, HILL ISSUES
Overall review: ok, it cannot go up hill with out bogging down, when i first got it this wasnt a problem, since i got the recall fixed not only is this a problem but i cant get above 39 mpg when before i got 45+mpg,ive had to replace all 4 of mine 2's due to uneven wear,my batteries die for no reason, cant explain it, i have left the dome light+headlights on over night and still had enough juice to start the car, but about once a year it dies compleatly for no reason, no lights ,the doors where all shut and i had only been out of it for about 2 hours, frequintly when im driving it the batteries die out suddenly, for no reason(35 mph nothing on or pluged in the charge just gose poof) and then take forever to recharge them selves, and of course theres allwaus fun with the dealership drama trying to get them to fix anything, with the exception of what they insist is no longer under warrenty, even though i bought the extended 10 year 100k bumper to bumper.now i go else where, and am never bying a honda again

Honda Civic Hybrid- Buyer beware! by artist in L.A. on 12/19/2012. Trim: 2007 Honda Civic Hybrid CVT AT-PZEV w/ Nav, Owned 5 years.

Pros: liked the body style
Cons: Milage touted highly inflated, no pick up and front end too low. At 90K mi. the hybrid battery had to be replaced. Brought it in for 100K mi. servicing at $1,600 then diagnosed to need rack and pinion at $2,300. I took car w/o expensive service and they offered for $1,600 as i was loyal, long standing customer. Why not offer that up front? Service dept. gouges customers. A friend had same thing happen and traded car in for a nissan. What happened to the Honda brand? I'm very disappointed and looking into trading in and getting a more reliable car and less expensive to maintain. In these economic times, gouging and selling customers up is not the way to go!
Overall review: not happy with car!
