I Get Noticed Every Day I Drive My Car by An MSN Autos Consumer on 05/12/2011. Trim: 2007 Volkswagen Eos 2.0T, Owned 5 years.
Pros: Great looking car. Dependable.
Cons: Tires very expensive to replace every time you hit a pothole.
Overall review: I don't think I will ever own another model or make of car. Can't wait until I buy my next one.

VW's Answer to Daylight-Saving Time by Old Salt on 12/02/2009. Trim: 2007 Volkswagen Eos 2.0T, Owned 1 year.
Pros: Unique, well-designed and engineered car: FUN! Exudes class and style for the money. Looks fast and IS. Feels safe; high levels of comfort and power (even with the 2.0T). Great fuel economy in town and on the road. Eye-catcher. Only 'dry'convertible I've owned: never had a leak, anywhere, any time.
Cons: NEEDS better rear-view in parking lotss or tight maneuvering in rear gear. Standard mini-cam/lcd flat screen in dash would fix a potentially unpleasant bumping something/someone while backing.
Overall review: Eye candy. Double-take grabber. Nneeds and autobahn workout every now and then."Give me warp-9, Scotty," and: don't forget my golf clubs....

Love my Eos by Nancy loves Eos on 07/08/2008. Trim: 2007 Volkswagen Eos 2.0T, Owned 1 year.
Pros: This little car handles like a dream, has the power to accelerate quickly and gets great gas mileage. This is the 7th car I've owned (my 3rd VW) and the best car I've ever owned.
Cons: Can't think of any cons...
Overall review: I love this car! One cool thing about it for me (maybe not so much so for VW) is that there aren't many of them on the road, so this car definitely stands out in a crowd.

A dream to drive and own by Jon from Chicago on 10/15/2007. Trim: 2007 Volkswagen Eos 2.0T, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Sunroof and top are easy to operate. Little touches like the AC/Heat reacting to the top up/down and outside temps. I have the 6 speed manual and it is a dream to drive. Steering is tight and responsive.
Cons: Rear seat is a little tight; however, very comfortable for two average size adults. Back end styling could have been better.
Overall review: Love it! I had a horrible experiance with another VW. I just put 5K on this one and have not had any issues (knock wood). The top is a plug and play from a 3rd party mfr, so I am comfortable that it is not home grown and wll have issues. The car handles like a dream, top down is relatively quiet. Top up is silent with very little road noise.

Fun in the sun (or moon) by Drexel of Philadelphia on 09/04/2007. Trim: 2007 Volkswagen Eos 2.0T, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Great roof. Like the top down on a warm night. Nimble, quick, tight steering and solid feel. Good acceleration. Not a monster sport car but not a dowdy cruiser either. I like the higher stance of the car and seats - not like the go-cart sport car stance. Rear seats are easier to access than similar sized convertables and useable for 2 kids or 1 adult under 6', 200 lbs. if the front passenger/driver is not over 6' tall.
Cons: UGLY rear end. Cheap, fake looking plastic wood grained interior trim could have been done much better. Poor tansmission - too much torque at low end spins front wheels on start up. Noticeable power lag when DSG automatic transmission up shifts. Noticeable power surge and acceleration when transmission downshifts. Hard ride with 17" wheels and seats feel hard after an hour. Weak air conditioning. Worry about VW's poor repair record once a car has 5 yrs - 50,000 mi.
Overall review: Seats are narrow so you must be slim to enjoy the relatively high side bolsters. Adding the luxury package and navagation system gives you a car equiped like one costing $10,000 - $20,000 more. It's fun in the sun (or moon) and will work as your only car if you don't need to haul lots of people and stuff.
