Great car but not for amateurs by Dodd. Canada on 12/27/2011. Trim: 2007 Saab 9-3 SportCombi Aero, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Seats are really comfortable, almost no turbo lag since full power comes on at 2k rpm. Love the stock exhaust noise (aero). Amazingly fast.
Cons: a little too much plastic inside for this price
Overall review: This car is great for people that love special cars. Sure for the same price you can get an audi/bmw/benz, but you will not find this kind of driving pleasure in the German counterparts. But as i said, you have to know cars, and love them to know how to appreciate the 9-3 SC Aero.

The Last Wonderful SAAB Convertible?? by What A Gas From Richmond on 02/13/2010. Trim: 2007 Saab 9-3 SportCombi Aero, Owned 1 year.
Pros: The 9-3 AERO Convertible is a dream keeper car. It will be a hobby car for year. It drives very well. Plenty of power, and good handling. Brakes are great. Use it but keep it. Thirty years down the line it will still be a remarkable car.
Cons: The owner's manual does not describe the factory supplied radio. Hence I had to go to the manufacturer and on line SAAB owners sites to discuss it.
Overall review: Beautiful car with the AERO version decor. High quality interior, Quiet and luxurious yet a tiger under the flesh. Drives like a sports car.

Best Value in a Car to Date by Beachcomber from South Padre Island on 12/09/2007. Trim: 2007 Saab 9-3 SportCombi 2.0T, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: This car has to be the best kept secret in the auto industry! Everything I had heard about it is true, and then some.
Cons: Very little. I bought it with the 17 option package which includes the 17 inch tires. They tend to make the ride a bit more noisy though.
Overall review: I would recommend a 2.0 with the option packages because the ride is smother and quieter than Aero, and I prefer the walnut, rather than metal interior. 2.0 is also better on gas and does better on regular than 2.8L. Even with memory seats and back up assist, the price is noticably lower that way and better equiped. I also got the sound package with XM sat radio, my preference.Try to buy from a volume dealer if possible. You can check out the inventory online. saabaustin is one of the better dealers of this type.
