Decent Truck

Pros:
This is a well built vehicle, solid. There is a lot of room for plenty of cargo. It has great off road capability. The gas mileage is very good for a truck this size.
Cons:
It feels heavy when driving it, especially with the V6. It seems to lack power without forcing it. Like driving a small bus. This is a larger vehicle and so it requires extra room for parking, turning, garage, etc.
Overall review:
Overall, this a good truck. If you need a vehicle this size with the cargo space and towing capacity, this is definitely recommended. Despite being a little underpowered, it is a well built and reliable vehicle.

TOYOTA Sales, What "THEY"... Want YOU to HAVE and NOT what YOU WANT !!!

Pros:
1) Rides like a GREAT CAR and HANDLES likes, a REAL TRUCK ! You CAN use IT, in the GREAT OUTDOORS (Camping/Fishing or WHATEVER?) or a Cross County Road Trip !!! 2) I GET , pretty good GAS Milage ( Appx.20-21 MPG, on AVG.) ! 3) In 5yrs. NOT ONE Repair / I turn the KEY & it WORKS !!! I also had an 2004, 4WD Sport Ed for 3yrs.with NO ISSUES! 4) I CAN , STILL DO...much of the MAINTANCE on my 0wn; SUV
Cons:
TOYOTA LISTEN.... !!! This IS my 2nd 4RUNNER (1st. was a 2004 which WAS MUCH NICER and COST LESS / 2K Less !!!).
I needed a 4WD Sport Ed. (like my 2004) but, NOW IT, ONLY comes with a "BLACK Int. " YOU BAKE" in the Southeast USA and it SHOWS EVERY BIT OF Dust & LINT in your.... 4RUNNER (SMART MOVE, TOYOTA) !!! Then, the towing Hitch " ADDED' $400.00 for what was STD, on 2004 models ! IT's SAD, to THINK (KNOW) that the RAV4 has more Horse Power then, the 4RUNNER :-( TOYOTA .... "Omitted" the A) Heated Side Mirrors B) Cassette Player C) REAR Audio (REMOTE) System D) Two Tone /Hi-Lights Paint E) A and B Trip Meter.. ETC & ETC !!! I'M ONLY 5'9"( w/ short legs) & HURT for leg space
Overall review:
The 4RUNNER in still a SOLID SUV / Truck and the 2 , I've own have been TROULE FREE, to date ! Though. I WOULLD NOT, get NEW ONE (2011-12)! I own & drove TOYOTAS, for MORE then 25 years and it's harder to find reasons to buy NEW One! TOYOTA is Selling WHAT ...They WANT, NOT what the BUYERS Need or DESIRES ???

Pros:
Very good ride, confort and performance. Lots of features. Very reliable vehicule.
Cons:
The storage space at the center console is place way in the back with regard to the seating positions. For the price a better quality on the interiors is expected. The exterior looks is unconvencional and in my opinon ugly. Brakes are very sensitive making the vehicule hard to drive undes certain traffic conditions.
Overall review:
SUV with excellent ride, comfort and performance.

Great vehicle

Pros:
I love that this is reliable. I'm at almost 100k miles on it and it has not let me down. We do the upkeep on it and I have had many people comment on how great it still looks.
Cons:
The paint job was not good. It had spots in it from the start that I didn't notice until after I left the lot. Also, the transmission fluid is set up so you HAVE to take it to the dealership to change it out, this is due to the fluid having to be pumped back into the system instead of poured.
Overall review:
I LOVE my 4runner. I will absolutely purchase another one. I honestly can't see myself driving any other vehicle.

Pros:
I handles well on and off road, has a nice ride.
Cons:
Way too many service problems. Under warranty the moonroof was replaced it didn't function properly as well asthe hatchback due to rust. Out of my pocket I have had 3 major repairs in the past 2 years the left frony axle was replaced, both rear wheel bearings were replaced, and the rear end was replaced.
Overall review:
Don't buy 4 Runner this is far below Toyotas standards. I bought this because Toyotas are rated so well this one does not make the grade
