F1 car for the street by deusirae, NC on 06/07/2011. Trim: 2007 Honda S2000 6-Spd MT, Owned 3 years.
Pros: This is the eighth thing I've owned from Honda, counting a 1984 Prelude, couple bikes, Accord, Odyssey and even a mower. Honda makes THE BEST engines and this is no exception. People say there is no torque and you have to rev up the engine, but that is the way F1 cars are and this is no exception. Revs like mad, handles on rails and corners like crazy. Have done autocross with mine as well as track time on VIR. Other cars may catch me on straights but corners are where this excels. Remember, straight lines are for fast cars, curved lines are for fast drivers. This will carve the curvy roads better then anything out there.
Cons: Stereo for sure. But just buy a new head unit, You pay 20K for a car, buy a stereo and quit complaining. So well designed can't add much to gain horsepower other then forced induction. It was the highest horsepower per liter car engine on the planet until Ferrari beat it. Ride is firm. Some people want to float on the road and this will not be for them. Visibility as with most convertibles with top up is limited. Just drive with the top down and you have no problems. Not for tall drivers unless you have a hard top. Also seats are snug and if you are on the larger side will find seats are tight.
Overall review: There is really not much to dislike about the car. Handles better then many other cars I've driven. More horsepower per liter then almost any car on the planet, until 2009. And it took Ferrari to beat it. 93.18 kW (126.7 PS; 125.0 hp) per litre - 2009 Ferrari 458 Italia 419.2 kW (570 PS; 562 hp) 4.499 L Note: 92 kW (125 PS; 123 hp) per litre - 1999 JDM Honda S2000 184 kW (250 PS; 247 hp) Honda F20C engine 1.997 L Huge after market support and many clubs/groups across the country. Find out what it is all about. Great car and design that is classic. That is why it has not changed markedly in the entire run. They hit it right off the bat, Honda may never duplicate this. Like the NSX, this car should be cherished and driven.

A real sports car you can use everyday by Matt from OC on 09/30/2009. Trim: 2007 Honda S2000 6-Spd MT, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Looks great, wonderful 4 cylinder VTEC engine, gear shift is super smooth. Comfortable seats. Legendary Honda build quality.
Cons: Ride can be a little hard for commuting on rough road surfaces. No aux / ipod input on factory stereo.
Overall review: Very happy with my S2000 so far. No problems. Does everything I expected. Driving with the top down really makes this car +10 for fun.

Fast, Fun, High Quality, Low Maintenance by S2000 Proud on 06/22/2013. Owned 6 years.
Pros: I love this car. I purchased the car new, 2007. I have yet to find the limits of this car. It corners on rails, it is crazy. I agree with other reviews that I can hold my own racing other cars in a straight away, but not really pull away. You get on the curves and they are left behind. I still get people asking me what is it and that it is beautiful. It still turns heads doing the sunny drive of cars on parade.
Cons: I think my hearing in my right ear has diminished as a result of my wife who yells at the top of her lungs when riding shot gun, "your going to kill us, slow down!". Other than that the seats are made to hold you in place as you fly into corners and wave good bye to the cars behind you. If you are a bit on the large side you won't fit well in the seats. It is fast fun and yes, loud, so if you want a pretend roadster, and you know what i'm talking about, then you shouldn't get this car. I did purchase an aftermarket adapter to hook up my ipod and a huge difference, sound is outstanding out of the ipod with the stock speakers.
Overall review: Outstanding fun car. I bought it new in 2007, it has been six years since and not one issue, change the oil and that is about it. Super high dependability, low maintenance, high performance, great looker. If you can take your passenger yelling at you to slow down and don't kill us, you will love this car.

The super fun driving car from HONDA, The S2000! by Paul on 09/22/2012. Owned 5 years.
Pros: Timeless, Wonderful Car. Its my 3rd one to own. Price vs preformance NOTHING compairs to the Honda S2000. If you can get one do IT. Still very sad that general public didn't really understand how to drive this type of car with such a high rev. engine. But very very happy that I do.
Cons: The only con that I can think of is I like the 2004 S2000 that I owned better than the 2007, because of Honda relaxing some of the stearing of the car and putting traction control on it (which can be turned off).
Overall review: One of the best cars that I have owned hands down. I have had 2001, 2004, and my 2007. All were traded in for a later model. I am keeping this one for a very very long time. Still get looks and questions about it today in 2012!! The car is quick and fun, yes there are things out there that will beat it, but thats not the point when something like the Honda S2000 can put a simle on your face everytime you hits 6000 RPM and it keeps going! And that smile for me has lasted OVER 10 YEARS now. This is truly one of the best cars IMHO for the money and fun facters ever made!!
