There is a great car by roma6789 on 07/16/2009. Trim: 2007 Porsche Boxster Convertible, Owned 2 years.

Pros: It is always a treat to drive this car. Very tight on turns without braking when everyone else is. Acceleration is more than you can you on U.S. roads. I bought the car in Germany and had the opportunity to drive it to capacity. However, it was diasppointing to be always over the the speed limit in third gear when it came to the U.S.
Cons: Upgraded sound system was disappointing and no direct line for an ipod.
Overall review: I have owned higher end cars, but this has been my favorite car to drive--agreat value for the money. If you have the oppportunity to do an European Delivery, Grand Tour, you will fully appreciate this vehicle and have a fantastic time (especially on the Porsche test track)

Porsche boxster by trooperls on 04/23/2008. Trim: 2007 Porsche Boxster Convertible, Owned 1 year.
Useful?
Pros: Fuel mileage and handling are superb. Get over 30mpg on hwy at 65mph. Top can be raised or lowered at 30mph or less.
Cons: Expensive tires and maintenance, weak stereo, PCM 2.1 wont take my cingular phone chip.
Overall review: Well balanced car, well worth the price. Options are expensive so select them carefully as they add up quickly. I put over 15K in options on mine. The 2.7L has all the power you need unless you plan on racing.

a really nice toy by An MSN Autos Consumer on 02/29/2008. Trim: 2007 Porsche Boxster Convertible, Owned 1 year.
Useful?
Pros: it's exhilarating. sticks like glue. nice exhaust noise. smooth clutch action. quite an attention getter, too.
Cons: i know that the seats must be tight because of the nature of the car. however, i find them uncomfortable for longer trips. ( better in my benz ) also, the bose sound system is finicky and isn't really that great. wipers could do a better job.
Overall review: great car. lots of fun. given what i paid for it i think it's good value.

Fun in the sun. by Rick in the O.C. on 07/18/2007. Trim: 2007 Porsche Boxster Convertible, Owned less than 1 year.
Useful?
Pros: Excellent styling, great handling and braking, good trunk space for a 2 seater, love the sound of the engine, fun to drive with top down, comfortable seating position, 20 MPG, well built, decent 4 year warranty, on board computer tells tire pressure and other info.
Cons: No MP3 connection, average stereo, no spare tire, service cannot be done just any where, expensive oil changes, key remote control very sensitive, I spend lots of time keeping it show room clean, options are expensive, low to the ground and need to avoid uneven surfaces and speed bumps, need to park far away from other cars, no oil dip stick.
Overall review: Overall, the car has exceeded my expectations. The fun factor is threw the roof and I always look forward to driving it. It has the perfect combination of speed, handling and braking.

2007 Boxster S by scarey from WI on 06/20/2007. Trim: 2007 Porsche Boxster S, Owned less than 1 year.
Useful?
Pros: The car is not only fast and agile, it is practical for trips with it's 2 trunks, unlike Honda S2000, Saturn Sky, or Pontiac Solstice. The car is incredibly fun to drive and still has the WOW factor when driving past onlookers. Side mirrors self dim when self dimming rear view mirror is activated!!! Some dealers do not equip with PASM because they think it is too expensive, but it is well worth the extra money.
Cons: Some quirky one-time issues occured with seat heaters not responding to switches and self dimming mirrors that would not respond to the switch. No problems with either since the initial problem. Service is expensive, but buyers know that when buying a Porsche it will not be cheap to maintain.
Overall review: This is the first Porsche I've owned and I would be driving a Corvette now if I had listened my friends about a quality misconception for this car. Interior is high quality, no rattles. This car is the most fun to drive of any car I've owned. I would recommend it to anyone and would buy another. A little more HP would be nice, but that would cut into 911 sales!!!
