special vehicle, very nice and classy ride
by baroness on wheels - Port Lavaca, Texas on 10/26/2010.
Trim: 2007 Chrysler Aspen Limited 4X2, Owned 4 years.

Pros:
I love the way my aspen handles. It drives like a sports car. safety of all the SUV models, but comfort of a car.
Cons:
The aspen could have been roomier. It would be more comfortable if it were roomier.
Overall review:
it is a beautiful vehicle. I get lots of compliments.

Reliable Fun Drive after 3 years

Pros:
Have had the SUV for almost 3 yrs now and we are very happy with it! Love the look, power of the HEMI, and very comfortable for the family of 5. No problems so far, change the oil every 6 mos myself and just rotated the tires (I know I'm late). The parking sensors on the back are great for parallel parking, don't think I could ever live without it now. It rides smooth and comfortable. Also love the 2nd and 3rd row split bench seats. Good enough to sit 8 persons and with the split folding bench seats makes it versatille for hauling the goods.
Cons:
As one previous reviewer wrote, we immediately noticed the car would skip/jump on the freeway when going over bumps and that was scary losing control like that. Turns out I over inflated the tires. The tires say 44 PSI, but on the driver side door it says 33 PSI and thats what the dealer found after I brought it in. No problems after that. Otherwise, no major cons that I can think of other than wish the storage space was larger behind the 3rd row seat. Although, much better than the Tahoe.
Overall review:
Our lease is up soon and I'm still thinking about getting a different auto so I don't have to deal with repairs etc that come with owning a car 4-5 years later and just getting that new car feel. Found the Sequoia and other nice SUVs are going to cost a pretty penny that we probably can't afford in monthly payments. We looked at the Chevy Traverse which looks really nice and surprisingly spacious behind the 3rd roll seat. We're going to ck out other crossovers, but in the end we may keep the Aspen because of the affordability and I like the high sitting SUV feel that really hasn't given us any reason to give up on her! Chrysler did good under her name brand, just don't go with her underling Dodge - had a Dodge Grand Caravan and she had problems with her brakes and power windows - seems to be a consistent problem with Dodge cars unless they fixed that.

I LOVE MY ASPEN!!!!!!!
by Northeast Louisiana on 09/25/2008.
Trim: 2007 Chrysler Aspen Limited 4X2, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros:
Without exception, I LOVE my Aspen. It is so comfortable, and is sleek and stylish.
Cons:
I wish the mpg was better, but considering the size and power of the engine, I really can't complain. My vehicle gets a little better than the projected "city" mileage, and is right-on for the projected highway mileage.
Overall review:
If you are in the market for a full-size SUV, DO NOT OVERLOOK THE ASPEN!
