Best Ride EVER!!!! by TK on 10/08/2013. Trim: 2007 Mazda Mazda6 i Sports Sedan Touring, Owned 4 years.
Pros: I love EVERYTHING about my car!! The best vehicle I have ever owned!!! Had mine for almost 5 years and have never had a problem with it!! This car hugs turns!!! It's a very smooth ride, very quiet!! Mine is a 4-cyl, but still no complaints!! :-)
Overall review: Would definitely recommend this car to everybody!! Maintenance is not very expensive.

93,000 and still like new!!! by An MSN Autos Consumer on 12/23/2010. Trim: 2007 Mazda Mazda6 i Sports Sedan Touring, Owned 2 years.
Pros: I've had this vehicle for 3 years now and reached 93,xxx miles and it runs like new. Very well designed engine. No issues, gas mileage is amazing, maintenance is easy. Handling and braking is superb. Power is very pleasing for a I-4 cyl. Love this vehicle and is one of the best vehicles I've ever owned.
Cons: Not really a con just the same thing every one else complains about... that the doors don't lock automatically...
Overall review: One of the best vehicle I've ever owned/ driven. After 93,xxx+ miles one would expect major mechanical problems but knock on wood haven't had any issues. Avg. 32 mpg and performance is great.

Great car, but I'm ready to move on. by Cubfn 11 on 12/25/2007. Trim: 2007 Mazda Mazda6 i Sports Sedan Sport, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: The look is very sporty. I have the black color with chrome and I recently tinted my back windows. I like the 6 cd changer and roomy interior as well. The Bose speakers are supposed to add quality sound to the car, but I can't tell the difference between them and normal speakers. The trunk is also big and the doors are very light and easy to work with in tight spaces.
Cons: The front right side of the car occasionally vibrates when I drive (the mechanics could not find the problem though) and the steering wheel vibtates when I drive fast on the highway, which should not be happening since I just recently bought the car. I don't like the 18 gallon tank as well. It seems my gas mileage keeps getting worse and worse and I hate spending $50 filling it up all the time. I also wish the car had automatic headlights and that it would lock when in motion. I don't understand why automatic locks are not one of the many features that it has.
Overall review: It is a beautiful car with many different features. I bought one of the higher end models (such as chrome designs, Bose speakers, automatic starting system, and special buttons on the rearview mirror). If I could do it all over again, I would've just bought the normal Mazda 6 instead of this because of the large price increase. I think the chrome alone costs an extra grand. A lot of people haven't complained about the price, so maybe I just got ripped off and overpaid for my car.

Quality, Comfort, Reliability by Frank on 03/09/2014. Trim: 2007 Mazda Mazda6 i Sports Sedan Sport, Owned 5 years.
Pros: I have had other mid-size sedans in this price class and they all have their ups and downs. This is the one with the best handling and feel on the road.
Cons: Being a previous owner of the Sonata and Camry, it seems that the others had better brakes where the Mazda6 brakes lock up and skid in certain weather conditions. Being that I have had the base models on all of the models listed, the mazda being the latter of the three, the others also had better acceleration which I thought was weird because every year these models grow in horsepower.
Overall review: My favorite car that I have had yet. Comfort, handling, and overall quality put this one ahead of the rest.

End of the boring 4 door! by Wade from Minden Louisiana on 06/09/2009. Trim: 2007 Mazda Mazda6 s Sports Sedan Value Edition, Owned 1 year.
Pros: I think this is the sportiest looking car in its class. It looks sharp, has enough pep for the majority of people, handles like it is on rails. "Can't wait untill I wear the Michillens out and replace with some Yoko S drives, should stick like glue". Gets great gas millage. V6 getting 28 to 29 mpg mixed city and hiway driving. Have put a K and N air filter and Moblie 1 oil in it. Made a big differnce in gas milage and pep. My back gives me trouble now and then, the seat feel real good nice, sound system sounds ok for stock. I like all the controls on the steering wheel, and the sunroof is just and added bonus!
Cons: No major ones. Same ol would like the doors to lock auto, and lights the same. Could stand a litte more plush carpet. The mats are about right. The VVT "variable vaulve timing" takes a little to get use to. Kinda like turbo lag, waiting for it to "kick in". Nothing else to speak of.
Overall review: I think is is a great car for the money. Just like any car it don't take long to add some $$$ to it at the dealership. If you want one nicley epuipped, for what you pay for a Mazda, you could get a bigger name brand. But it is a really nice car. Nice family car. Lots of room interior and trunk, plenty of room for taking trips. Sporty suspension. If you want a really smooth riding car, get a Camry. If you don't mind feeling a bump hear and there, and are like me and would rather hit the gas rather than the breaks coming to a sharp banked curve go with the 6! I would recommend the V6 rather than the 4. It gets just as good gas mileage as the 4, with way more pep...Can't go wrong with this car. I get complements all the time. I would recommend this car to anyone.
