One awesome SUV!!!! by Cosmicbaker currently in Germany on 07/14/2009. Trim: 2007 Subaru B9 Tribeca Limited 7-Passenger, Owned 2 years.
Pros: This car has plenty of pick up and is soooo much fun. It looks like a fighter jet inside and rides super smooth. I get about 20 miles to the gallon and that's part city and unlimited German autobahn driving. It's super safe and equipped with 8 air bags. Woohoo!!!!
Cons: The only down side is the fuel tank capacity. It could use about 3-5 more gallons. Other than that, I am more than satisfied.
Overall review: A must own for the mom who needs lots of space, but doesn't want to go to the typical mom car. This car is so stylish and fun. It gets compliments everywhere it goes.

Best interior EVER by John from North Jersey on 01/01/2008. Trim: 2007 Subaru B9 Tribeca Limited 7-Passenger, Owned 1 year.
Pros: I personnally love the 'distinctive' look of the front end. The 08 looks like a Chrysler. Bought my 07 Tribeca 7 passenger w/ DVD & navi, XM, puddle lights, front under guard, rear bumper guard and all-weather mats for $27.5k w/ 8440 miles on the odo...it was a Subaru company car which I consider to be an awesome value considering original MSRP w/ accessories of close to ~$39k (not that they ever sold for that much). Interior is great...best I've scene in any non 'luxury' car. 2nd row leg room is exceptional w/ seats pushed all the way back. Navi works very nicely and rear DVD is cool, surprised at the sound quality of the IR wireless headphones.
Cons: Like others have said, the tranny hunts a bit on upgrades...even w/ cruise control on highway. Gas mileage is respectable for a car of this size IMHO (~20 mpg). The real issue with mileage is that the gas tank is only 16.9 gallons (my Accord has 17.1 and gets 28 mpg) so range is unneccessarily limited to only about 300 miles. It keeps fillups cheap, just a lot more often. Enginer power is merely adequate, the new 08 engine probably takes care of this issue though, passing on grades requires a couple of downshifts which can be sluggish at times. For the navi I wish you could change destination info while the car is in motion, but not a deal breaker. Sound system is good but a bit muddy.
Overall review: Overall a beautiful car for the money. One yr old used for $12k less than the original MSRP with only 8440 miles is great for the used car shopper, but obviously not great news for those who bought new. IMHO, a great interior more than makes up for a questionable exterior, even though I happen to like the exterior design.

Pretty Good SUV by Joe on 05/03/2009. Trim: 2007 Subaru B9 Tribeca 7-Passenger, Owned 2 years.
Pros: It is very comfortable. The interior is great and was styled after the interior of a plane.
Cons: Not too much, but I wouldn't want to be sitting in the third row seats for a very long time (they are very small).
Overall review: It is a good car.
