What a macine!

Pros:
Almost like driving a MB limo...with the added safety the ML provides. Go for the 320CDI..what an engine its is! And fuel consumption is low as long as you drive smoothly....
Cons:
Cost of added equipment high

ML 500 problematic

Pros:
Very smooth ride and excellent acceleration
Cons:
Nonstop repairs. 2 interior repairs, air compressor for struts, 1 broken strut $2000, power steering pump, brake light wiring issue (ongoing) , etc. The entry chime is way too loud and never stops ringing. General maintence costs are excessive ($480 transmission flush) .
Overall review:
The third and last Mercedes I'll ever buy.

Pros:
This vehicle is rock solid. Besides being very safe, it is also a pleasure to drive, has ample room for 5 adults, and its cost of operation is second to none in its class.
Cons:
The only possible con could be its price. This might not be considered a con, however if you own it over a period of time ,through its quality of construction, it should outlast 2 or 3 of its competitors, thus making it an outstanding value. With this consideration it has no cons.
Overall review:
Excellent value, the best in its class.
