The Perfect Sports Car - No gadgets, Awesome engine, Beautiful styling.

Pros:
An exotic car that can actually be driven! Most Ferraris get only 500 miles per year. This car can do that in one day. And you will have a blast doing it. The sound of the engine CANNOT be described via a web site. The F1 racing transaxle is awesome.
Cons:
Being exclusive also means that it is difficult to service. Only Italian oil is allowed in this car. There are no "do it yourself" repair manuals. All parts come from the Ferrari dealer (very expensive). The stereo sounds great, but it is meant for Europe. There is NO spare tire.
Overall review:
The perfect sports car. No "gadgets". Just a great engine in a beautiful car. If you drive one, you will want one.
Maserati and Ferrari have pulled out all of the stops on designing this car. It has an Ferrari engine (from the old 360) and a Ferrari F1 racing transaxle. But it is more than just a racing engine in a small car. It is easy to drive and looks great. And you won't pass another one on the street, or loose it in the parking lot. It is relatively affordable if you shop around.
Just don't expect this to be a "daily driver". It is a magnet for trouble. Insurance companies don't like it. Service is only available in a few select locations. The sides are smooth and just waiting for a door ding.
Did I mention that it goes 180 mph?

Very Pricey for what you get....
If you are lucky enough to drive one of these cars you will find the ups and downs of this vehicle really quick. The taller people like myself need to walk away from this car. The interior of this care is gorgeous!

Style, performance, road feel and build quality. Quick revving V8 is pure Italian opera

F1 shifter takes some getting used to

Pros:
Fun factor - completely off the charts. Great value.
Cons:
poor radio, poor am antenna (with replaced radio), navigation so bad the dealers say they don't bother ordering cars with it, wind noise with top up (inexcusable in this day and age), trade off of race car handling is a pretty rough ride, no blue tooth, no cup holders, guzzles gas.
Overall review:
Drive this car once and you are hooked. The exhaust sound is nothing short of intoxicating. Handling, acceleration, F1 transmission - you know that this car is special every time you drive it. Interior short on some electronics, but that actually lends to the elegance. Great interior actually, more comfortable than it looks and very beautiful. Sure it has some shortcomings listed above, but to me they don't even register compared to the unmitigated joy of driving it. Has more soul than any car in its class.
