Great truck by California on 11/01/2006. Trim: 2007 Chevrolet Colorado LT2 Crew Cab 4WD, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Excellent ride. The new larger engine for the 2007 is something special, you can feel the power and a lot of times forget you're in a truck! Breaking is great, and with the Z71 suspenion you feel like you're in a sports car when taking sharp turns. The rear seats in the crew cab also have a huge amount of leg room for whoever sits back there, and the driver and paaenger bucket seats are comfy enough to sleep in.
Cons: The only con I can think of is that when looking over your shoulder while reversing, your field of vision is partially cut off, so make sure you take a double take before you start reversing.
Overall review: Overall great truck. I have had her for about a month now and hav't found a problem. I drive over 70 miles round trip 5 days a week, and nothing but more findings of how great this truck is keep popping up. The turning radias is not great, but for a truck it's one of the best. The interior is great, and has the same sharp looks as the 2006 models, plus some extras, such as the chrome sill that reads "CHEVROLET" on the side of the truck where you step in (covered by the door when closed) on the driver and passenger side. I strongly reccomend this truck to whoever is looking for a smaller sized truck with a lot of power.

Tough Little Truck by GTO man from Columbia on 09/29/2012. Trim: 2007 Chevrolet Colorado LT3 Ext. Cab 4WD, Owned 2 years.
Pros: This is son's vehicle. We have had about 2.5 years. Drove 200-miles to find / buy one. It is a tough little truck - have a Z71 - LT3, in snow it is unstopable including a 32" event. Ride is good, handling great. Gas ecomomy is much better than neighbor's Ford Ranger. Had less problems with too. He has pulled stumps, hauled material, and used for summer work (construction) and the truck has been great.
Cons: Driver leather seat is showing wear at 50xxx - My Tahoe at 140xxx looks better. Stereo is weak (replaced). Needs more ammenities - stereo controls on steering, etc.
Overall review: Son wanted a mid size truck for college - I believe overall, the Colorado / Canyon is best, including looking at Toyota.

The truck that makes the grade and actually holds 70 mph by Marshall on 03/10/2011. Trim: 2007 Chevrolet Colorado LT1 Ext. Cab 2WD, Owned 4 years.
Pros: My colorado has the 4 cylinder engine and its the most powerful ive had yet. It goes over the grades like they arent even there. You can actually use the cruise control and it holds the speed. I live in california and have traveled to canada and las vegas a few times and you just cant beat it for being reliable and actually not that bad on the gas. My former vehicles include the silverado, a chevy step side with a 350, a ford explorer with a 351 and a toyota 4-runner being the worst of the bunch. The colorado puts them all to shame power and reliability wise.
Cons: As far as the bad points, it rides like a tank. You endure every bump like youre in a roller coaster. And that may just be because of the basic seats that came with the vehicle, basic meaning standard cloth seats. Also the rear seats on a extended cab no matter what they tell you if you have kids get the crew cab. The problem is there were 2 colorados to choose from in the san fernando valley. Which is another con. Ive looked at the loaded crew cab colorado and it will be my next truck. The colorado is the truck to have, it just lacks comfort. Also its a bit on the noisy side. Gms focus is on the silverado, if theyd put that comfort and selection into colorado theyd have a #1.
Overall review: My overall review is 8. The truck is definately a get you there reliable vehicle and if gm would put a little more effort into comfort and body style maybe youd actually see a lot more colorado and a lot less japanese on the road.
