Reliable, trustworthy, balanced… by Dixie Commuter on 02/27/2014. Trim: 2007 Ford Crown Victoria LX, Owned 1 year.
Pros: As long as you’re not trying to squirm the Crown-Vic into micro-parking spots, this car veils its size except on the inside where the spaciousness is welcome. Driving is restful, soothing and engenders a sort of dignity you won’t get out of the world of high-tech econo-boxes, and although it is not a sporty car, it corners quite well, gets reasonable fuel economy and feels solid on rural roads. The seats are in a class by themselves – I drive upwards of 40K miles a year, some car seats work, some of the high-tech ones just have to be endured; however, the Crown-Vic seating is refined, supportive and secure – wonderful!
Cons: Overall, this is an upgraded, refined car after many years of manufacture – but the ergonomics seem a touch dated (not uncomfortable – but all the switches aren’t where you expect) and the factory sound system is not the most up-to-date; no Bluetooth, auxiliary input and the like… small niggles.
Overall review: This car seems to have far broader appeal than we expected – the teenaged grandkids seem to prefer to borrow “grandma’s” car much more than we ever anticipated. Overall this model is the last of a dying breed – ours is now approaching 100K miles and remains rattle-free, extremely comfy, affordably economical and shows almost no wear -- you get the last of the heavy-duty, hard-wearing, meaty cars built to contemporary quality specs, metallurgy, economy and assembly. A few niggles, but this is the best of the best…

'07 Crown Vic LX Sport, the only way to drive! by 1957 Fairlane 500 Crown Victoria on 04/28/2013. Trim: 2007 Ford Crown Victoria LX.
Pros: Currently on my 5th Crown Vic. Have two LX Sports, one an '02 with 92,000 miles and an '07 with 29,000 miles. These are absolutely the best products from the Ford Motor Company. Can't beat the comfort and strength of body on frame construction. Looked at a $50,000 Taurus SHO and wouldn't take it over a '07 Crown Vic LX Sport. It was not one of Ford's "Better Ideas" to discontinue this wonderful automobile.
Cons: Love everything about the Crown Vics.
Overall review: Excellent American sedan. Body on frame, rear wheel drive, room for 5-6 adults. Not an SUV from Japan, Korea or China (GMC).

Great Car! by Charles on 12/31/2008. Trim: 2007 Ford Crown Victoria LX, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Large safe comfortable well built reliable car with good fuel economy. What's not to like?
Cons: None noted
Overall review: Great car. This is the ninth large rear drive Ford product we have owned since the model debut in the late 1970's These cars just keep getting better with refinement. The cars are known to be so tough that the majority of police and taxi units have been Crown Victorias. The cars are also are used as rental units due their reliability, economy, and comfort. It's a shame that Ford is neglecting the Panther series ( Crown Victoira, Mercury Grand Marquis, and Lincoln Town Car) and letting them die.
