Nice, but..... by Player on 07/01/2010. Trim: 2007 Lexus ES 350 Sedan, Owned 3 years.
Pros: Beautiful car, and quiet as a cemetery at highway speed. Gas mileage is great. Very powerful/fast.
Cons: AM radio reception is horrible, and a frequently-cited problem on other message boards. The standard sound system is sub-par. Paint job is pedestrian, not worthy of a "luxury" vehicle line.
Overall review: Wonderful ride, very, very fast acceleration, to the point of being difficult to control during high-power passing, etc. The overall quality of this vehicle, while high, does not compare to the late 90's Infinitis and Lexi that had heavier-gauge metal, much better paint jobs, and awesome radios/Bose sound systems. Lots and lots of shameful plastic in this vehicle. The front cup holder divider and headliner sunglasses holder broke within the first few months. However, after 3 years, this car is still tight, quiet, powerful and trouble-free. The Lexus dealership is awesome - like visiting a luxury hotel when dropping off the car for service- they treat you like royalty.

Reliable Reasonable Priced Luxury by JC from Maryland on 08/20/2012. Trim: 2007 Lexus ES 350, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Interior appeals, smoothness, quiet cabin, acceleration, reliability.
Cons: Doesn't have the quality of the early ES models, paint isn't durable, requires premium fuel
Overall review: This is my 3rd ES model Lexus. I've had a 97, 03, and now 07. The 97 and 03 had the 3.0 engine which seemed more reliable. The 07 ES350 has amazing acceleration compared to the ES300. The fuel economy is better in the ES350 than the ES300 despite it requires premium fuel. At 88,000 miles the water pump went out. The price to fix replace the water pump ranges from $700 to $1200. Toyota dealerships can replace the pump cheaper than Lexus dealerships. Overall i've had a good experience with all Lexus ES models. Never purchased a warranty on any of my Lexus ES models and the water pump is the first non-routine maintenance problem i've had.
