Amazing car by An MSN Autos Consumer on 05/26/2010. Trim: 2006 Porsche Cayman S, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Looks amazing! Very fun to drive. Everything a sports car should be. Is not gigantic like so many sporty coupes currently are, like the G37 for example.
Cons: Can be hard to find a used model with the options and colour you want.
Overall review: Excellent car for spirited daily driving.

Do you know what "balance" means? Don't burn your tire!! by Joy rider in OK on 05/08/2007. Trim: 2006 Porsche Cayman S, Owned 1 year.
Pros: Extremely attractive styling that stands out everywhere, precise handling, and the power of pure breed racing car. Very practical car as well. Much larger storage spaces than 911s, not much smaller than most 2-seaters. Nice mileage - no less than 22 miles per gallon. some times nearly 24. (I commute to midtown via highways and local roads and would say I drive modestly agressively.) Nice acoustic quality, although the original stereo broke in 6 months. But that was Bose's fault, not Porsche's.
Cons: Again, purebred racing car. The hp and torque curves are very stiff, so you can easily stall the engine at low rev. Not a good thing in front of envy looking people around you! The engine response to the gas pedal is somehow slow for a sports car. You may compare one with the sports chrono package. This car is not a luxury car. Don't expect a fancy interior like a Lexus, unless you pay double for all the expensive options. My Cayman S is now about 1 year old, and I hear a small, but noticeable noise from somewhere near the right rear shock absolver cap. One of the loaner's car (boxter) from my dealership was much worse, so I'm worried about having more noises as it gets older.
Overall review: This is a perfectly (or nearly perfectly) balanced car (as opposed to the big American muscles). If drag racing is all you want, go get a Corvette or Viper, or even Mustang GT and Z350 will do. If you want to feel the delicate balance and the graceful movement of show horses, this is the car you have dreamed of.

Coupe Complete by Michael from Seattle on 07/17/2006. Trim: 2006 Porsche Cayman S, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: The handling and performance are fantastic. As for the looks - I still can't walk away from my Cayman without turning back for another look. The Boxster I replaced was my favorite car ever, the Cayman has surpassed it.
Cons: A sunroof would be nice, but I'll live without it.
Overall review: It is hard to imagine a car that realizes its purpose better then the Cayman.

Great ride that keeps breaking by FL on 02/27/2009. Trim: 2006 Porsche Cayman S, Owned 2 years.
Pros: great driving with tight responsive control and handling
Cons: Lots of little rattles that the dealer keeps having to fix. In two years I have had it in the shop 10 times for repair, many time for the same issues. This is my 5th Porsche and I have never had anywhere near the maintenance issues as with this car.
Overall review: Great looking and driving car with maintenance issues that hopefully have been solved in later years.

So close to a 911...so far from a Boxster by Miss Madre from Calgary on 01/16/2007. Trim: 2006 Porsche Cayman S, Owned 1 year.
Pros: The best in terms of space, comfort and bang for your buck from the Porsche line. The Boxster doesn't even come close to the quality and overall value of the Cayman S. It drives more along the lines of a 911, which I've also driven on many occasions. It's meaty and the lines are fantastic. Still not a 911, but so close you'd hardly notice the difference. We have no problem fitting two sets of clubs with plenty of room to spare in the hood and the hatch.
Cons: Parking it beside other cars.
Overall review: Overall, we took this out on a test drive to see what it was like and drove it off the show room floor that same night. We were looking at the Mercedes SLK, and this one by far was so much more of a machine. A true Porsche. You won't be disappointed and if you are, then you didn't know cars very well in the first place.
