Anytime of the day vehicle

Trim: 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche LTZ 2WD, Owned 1 year.

Pros:
The driving range on this vehicle is under rated. As long as you aren't in a hurry this vehicle it gets excellent gas mileage and range on one tank for trucks its size. Even in the city, the key is to not treat it like a sports car with high accelerations when taking off and the gas needle will be good to you. The fact that it has the option to shut down to 4 cylinders is the major reason I bought this truck. If not for that it would just be an overpriced (albeit great performing) vehicle.
Cons:
The gas bill does hurt when gas goes up, but I don't have to fill up as much either because of the bigger gas tank. Also parking is kind off a hassle. If you get this vehicle make sure you get the parking sensors or the rear view camera. The bed sits too high to see behind you effectively. If you don't have the sensors or camera get used to parking at the back of the parking lot. It is agile, but it is very hard to see behind you. The bed is great as long as your aren't a contractor using it for major hauling purposes. It's more for the everyday use of vehicles and the cover sometimes leaks depending on how hard it rains. But the storage capacity is excellent.
Overall review:
I love this vehicle, I have the LTZ model with all the bells and whistles and the only reason I wouldn't buy another one is because gas will make it too expensive to fill up if it goes over $5 a gallon. But I live and play in Texas so driving long distances is what we do and the four cylinder option makes it so easy to do and keeps me away from the pump longer than people give the vehicle credit for. If I use the vehicle for commuting purposes only, I can go a whole month on one tank. And my commute is about 15-20 miles one way and that is in some of the worst traffic in Texas.

Pros:
Best truck for general contractor. Haul materials in a rain or snow storm. Pull a trailor. Tall enough for snow banks and off road construction sites. This is the 3rd one I've owned and it has 165,000 trouble free miles on it.
Cons:
Uses oil but I can take that. It lets me know when it needs a quart. Add oil and keep on truckin"
Overall review:
Best SUV/Truck on the road. Style, ride, milage and flexibility can't be beat.

Pros:
Great style and very comfortable like a full-size car. Great exceleration. Love all the extras. Luxurious.
Cons:
Some grinding when turning wheels sharply when parking caused, I suppose, from the fact that it is a 4-wheel drive vehicle. Had some electrical problems causing the battery to run down and dealership had trouble fixing it, took 3 trips to dealer.
Overall review:
We love this vehicle, plan to keep it for a long, long time.
