Saaburu, get it while you can! by Paul on 10/27/2006. Trim: 2006 Saab 9-2X 2.5i, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Excellent steering, handling, brakes, and superior traction through AWD.
Cons: Seats could be a bit wider.
Overall review: Best bang for the buck. I bought this car with a large 5K rebate. With this rebate there is no other car on the market that comes close to this level of performance for the same price. The road feel, handling, braking, and traction are great. I got the cold weather package, which adds heated seats, mirrors, and rear wiper heating element. Folding down the rear seats gives a nice amount of space through the rear hatch. I look for excuses to drive my new Saab 9-2x.

Proud Owner of a Saabaruu by An MSN Autos Consumer on 07/11/2006. Trim: 2006 Saab 9-2X 2.5i, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Acceleration, reliability based on subaru counterpart, ride, styling, handling, fuel economy (been avg. 27 - 30 mpg), awd, longer warranty, dealership experience, and saab enhancements to the interior and exterior as well as mechanical.
Cons: the fact that GM and Fuji Heavy Industries (Subaru) severed relations thus, no 2007 model.
Overall review: Do not overlook this vehicle if you can find one...especially an automatic. This unique cross-breeding between GM and Subaru will be one for the history books considering Saab's roots are of Sweedish origin and the vehicle is manufactured in Japan while being sold as American since GM's acquisition of Saab a few years ago.

Excellent Vehicle by An MSN Autos Consumer on 07/11/2006. Trim: 2006 Saab 9-2X 2.5i, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Style Ride, Handling, Sound Deadening Quickness off the line, with little effort.
Cons: None as of yet.
Overall review: Everything I've read from the so-called "experts" is how the Saab 92x is nothing more than a Subaru. Obviously these "experts" just finished test driving a Maserati or Enzo, because this car feels nothing like a Subaru. The ride of the car and quietness of the interior is excellent. Very quick off the line, with little effort. When you push the accelerator, it goes immediately, no delay like every other vehicle I've owned. The safety ratings are excellent, and the overall look and feel of this vehicle are superb. Cargo space is abundant, even more so with both seats down. I highly recommend this vehicle. The only issue will be trying to locate one. I've read that Saab is discontinuing this model.

Pros: Handling. Ride. Braking.

Overall review: Buy this car if you are looking for an AWD and some luxury details not found on the Subaru.

Nice car by Derek from Council Bluffs Iowa on 03/10/2006. Trim: 2006 Saab 9-2X 2.5i, Owned 1 year.
Pros: Its a nice vehicle for the price especially when the GM employee discounts were in effect. I picked mine up for 16K. Has a nice feel too it and the 165Hp motor is more than enough in the 5speed edition.
Cons: On long trips the front seats get a little uncomfortable.
Overall review: Great car for the money.
