gr8 for occasional long drive...! by An MSN Autos Consumer on 04/29/2007. Trim: 2006 Saab 9-7X 5.3i, Owned 1 year.
Pros: very stylish, lots of standard stuff...pickup is gr8....ride is fun...
Cons: the interior quality is not that gr8...plastic looks of poor quality...2nd row leg room is very small...basically for kids....panel could've been more sharp...cruise ctrl is in a bad place should be on the stearing wheel.....front row seats never seem to adjust quite right????....gas mileage is worst ever...i mean on the sticker it says 15 and 21 ....but untill now couldn't break 12 miles to the gallon...
Overall review: I like the styling....ride is gr8....feel is superb....but it doesn't look as if they did the job quite right....overall ..am just not satisfied...

Its more Saab than GM by Gary Rock Hill, SC on 04/02/2009. Trim: 2006 Saab 9-7X 5.3i, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Great mix of style, comfort, power and that Saab feel
Cons: People comparing it to the Chevy....saab did a great job in making it their own...
Overall review: Love my 9-7x

Smooth ride by Jeff Billings, MT on 10/17/2008. Trim: 2006 Saab 9-7X 5.3i, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: The ride is smooth, and acceleration great. The DVD is a nice addition since it has cordless headphones for the people in back. The navigation system is a real plus when travelling, and very user friendly.
Cons: Gas mileage could be better. It's the worst vehicle I've ever driven on snow. and that includes a motorcycle. I had to put snow tires on it just so it wasn't all over the road. Since it's a low profile 18 inch tire it costs a few pennies.
Overall review: I like it, but as an SUV it's not what you want in one. Not much room in the back (I traded an 04 Expedition in on it) for hauling stuff. It's basically a luxury car that sits up a little higher than other cars.

looking for a mid size, full featured SUV this is the car by Northern Virginia on 04/21/2007. Trim: 2006 Saab 9-7X 5.3i, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Pleasantly surprised at how much we have liked this SUV. My wife who lives in it driving teens around loves it! It feels good to buy American with the European influence in styling and suspension. Turning radius can’t be beat! And the On star and luxery features are outstanding.
Cons: Fuel economy is weak but anyone who owns an SUV with the power of the Saab should not expect this to be a pro. The one disappointment are the cheep attempts to make it a Saab e.g. the oval shaped tail pipe extension is just spot welded onto a round GM tail pipe. If you’re going to make the joint GM/Saab venture work don’t cut corners on the little stuff. Go for it!
Overall review: If you are looking for a mid size, full featured SUV this is the car. We like it more every day and it was an excellent value. Saab dealer in our area is second to none.

Great Vehicle by Rick on 04/14/2007. Trim: 2006 Saab 9-7X 4.2i, Owned 1 year.
Pros: Incredibly comfortable. Have all options except DVD.
Cons: Gas Mileage rated higher when I bought the car than actual mileage I am getting.
Overall review: Really like the car a lot . Next car will be hybrid SUV if it becomes available. After 1 year of owneship, the car's value has remained remarkably high.
