Pros:
This is our 2nd Sorento. We originally bought our first one in 2003 and our 2nd in 2006. Next year will be our 3rd one. It is the best driving SUV we have ever driven.
Cons:
Head lights burn out quickly. Make sure to turn your headlights off before starting. Also the cheap bulbs work best. Too bad they have gone up so far in price.

Pros:
Looks. Good value. All around air bags. Good crash scores.Auto 4 wheel drive.
Cons:
Quality of painting. I have found dust particles in the paint.
Overall review:
Nice car. My wife drives this car and I feel she is very safe in this car.

Too Many Problems

Pros:
Feels solid.
Cons:
Build quality is terrible. Too many snap-together parts that break. Crankshaft bolt continues to be a MAJOR problem and is subject to catastrophic failure.
Overall review:
If you buy one, dump it before the miles climb. This one will break down and not when or how you expect it to.

Pros:
I bought a 2006 used in 2009 from Carmax with only 15,000 miles on it. It's now 2012 and I have 90,000+ miles on it and the worst I can say about it is I wish the gas mileage was a little better and it didn't burn out headlights although my mechanic told me the reason the headlights were burning out continually is because the new bulbs require you to NOT touch them. Something about the oils in your fingers, etc so hubby now uses gloves when he replaces and so far, so good. Can't say 1 bad thing about the whole company. Thumbs up, here.
Cons:
Gas mileage and wish it didn't have the road noise. I carpool and the lady I ride with has a new Honda and the road noise is much less in her vehicle.... but I just turn the music up - solves the problem. I paid 1/2 of what she did for her car so I'm happy after 3 years and 75,000 miles.
Overall review:
One of the best vehicles I've ever owned in terms of reliability and just looking slick.
