The best car I have ever owned by An MSN Autos Consumer on 09/28/2006. Trim: 2006 Audi A4 Avant 2.0 T quattro w/ Tiptronic, Owned 1 year.
Useful?
Pros: The engine is amazing, fantastic torque and OUTSTANDING gas mileage. 20 MPG city is easy, I have gotten up to 34 mph highway although 32 is more common. Transmission is excellent, it locks the torque converter fairly early in the rev range, improving mielage. It also automatically downshifts when going downhill and want to hold a particular speed. I love the navigation system, it is very accurate and VERY intuitive to operate. The Bluetooth integration is just PERFECT, although you need a cellphone that is on Audi's list of tested & approved phones. The handling of the car is superb, increbibly stable on the highway and amazing grip in corners.
Cons: The sound system is not as good as I would expect in a car this great. I have the non-Bose system. The engine is a little on the loud side, but it is a healthy sound. I would like a little more headroom and a bit more legroom.
Overall review: I love this car! It is, plain and simple, the best car I have ever driven. I can HIGHLY recommend it!

S-Line Avant 2.0T by Nick on 08/06/2006. Trim: 2006 Audi A4 Avant 2.0 T quattro, Owned less than 1 year.
Useful?
Pros: Excellent torque and acceleration for a heavy car. Interior fit and finish is the best on the market. Superb handling and good cargo space. Bluetooth preparation works very well.
Cons: S-Line model comes with mediocre tires.
Overall review: The S-Line Avant is a quite stunning car to look at and to drive. Legendary Quattro 4-wheel drive means you can out maneouvre most other cars on the road. City mpg rated at 23, and freeway at 31...I can vouch for both in real life through the trip computer and calculations at the pump. If you want a wagon with a difference then look no further.

Amazing vehicle. by An MSN Autos Consumer on 03/13/2006. Trim: 2006 Audi A4 Avant 2.0 T quattro, Owned less than 1 year.
Useful?
Pros: -S-Line package: Changes the overall dynamics of this car. Aluminum trim really accents the interior and a nice, grippy steering wheel is traded in. The visual changes to the outside are perfect. The 18" wheels with super-sticky tires combined with the sport suspension (tuned by Quattro Gmbh just like the RS-4 gets but S4 doesn't!) really make for a superb handling ride that isn't overly bumpy. -Engine:Very flexible for a 4cy, even with the turbo you will be hard pressed to feel turbo lag. 31mpg with AWD is little to complain about too! -Interior:Great seats and excellent materials. Many amenities to chose from that only add to the driving experience. Perfectly done inside.
Cons: The engine is a little growly when driving at low speeds but is very quiet at cruising. The new FSI system gives it a little clackity-clack like a diesel motor has. Very minor and hardly annoys, if at all.
Overall review: Amazing. I love this vehicle. I can't get enough seat-time to drive it as much as I'd like. Going with the Avant trim really makes this vehicle that much more flexible by adding the "wagon" back to it. Still, it does not feel larger while driving and looks very good in the Avant form. The great part of owning an Audi vehicle is all of the little touches that you find here and there to accentuate the driving experience. For example, a simple, built in divider that keeps my dog in the back, under the seat pockets for storage, under the steering wheel storage for the owner's manual (free's up glove-compartment space), as well as basic ergonomics make for a much more pleasant driving experience. 10/10 overall.
