The Ultimate Ripoff by Average Consumer on 04/13/2010. Trim: 2006 Dodge Viper SRT10 Coupe, Owned 2 years.
Pros: There is nothing to like about this vehicle. Don't waste your money on a new or used one.
Cons: This is the most outrageously priced car on the planet. There is nothing in this car that is superior to any Chrysler product. It has the same cheap paint, trim, inferior leather and plastic interior as any of Chrysler's cheapest cars. Mechanically it is average to any type performance car. From engine parts to suspension parts you are NOT getting anything better then there cheapest cars. It would be a OK car for for about two thirds less in price.
Overall review: Nice car for about 32000 dollar range. Even at that price Chrysler would be making a fortune on it.

Raw power by Mr. B Scottsdale on 07/05/2013. Trim: 2006 Dodge Viper SRT10 Convertible, Owned 7 years.
Pros: The car is a monster! It handles extremely well for a driver that knows how to handle it. It is a blast to auto cross with!!! Looks great and the seats are comfortable! I have a couple sports cars and this one is the one I take on trips because of the comfort. To get the top down and go convertible only takes a second!!
Cons: A few of the interior trim pieces are not well designed
Overall review: Great car!! A blast to drive!!

Do your research before buying. by An MSN Autos Consumer on 12/02/2007. Trim: 2006 Dodge Viper SRT10 Coupe, Owned 1 year.
Pros: Corvettes are a dime a dozen but the Viper is something that stands out. Very exciting to drive.
Cons: I'm not writing this as a hateful review, just wanting people to know there are some possible problems with these vehicles. The quality associated with this vehicle has made it a bad decision on my part and something I didn't expect from Dodge having owned their trucks in the past. Reading one of the recent posts about window and electrical problems I see my vehicle is no different. My vehicle has been in the shop 7 times in the past several months for numerous problems.
Overall review: Viper mechanics within the Dodge service department are rare and hard to find. Out of three dealerships only one had more than a couple years experience dealing with these cars. It's a good idea to spend the time reading reviews about the car and also calling the dealership to find out the mechanics experience level. Also of note Dodge Corporate center was not helpful working this problem. A fun car to drive but not worth all the problems.

Viper not worth the money by JV on 10/08/2007. Trim: 2006 Dodge Viper SRT10 Coupe, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Great looks and performance.
Cons: Terrible on gas. 5 MPG average. Purchased the car recently and has been in shop constantly. Windows roll up to high and hit side of vehicle when door is closed. Rear hatch will not shut all the way. Remote keyless entry not working properly. I believe severe wiring problems.
Overall review: Dodge customer service not impressive on dealing with this situation. My vehicle has been in the shop several weeks over the last couple of months and they are having problems fixing it. I wanted a solution other than it sitting there but they offered nothing. I will sell this ASAP and purchase a Porsche or Corvette. 70k car and not worth the problems.
