Best truck on the market by Dr HVAC in Albuquerque on 08/07/2008. Trim: 2006 Toyota Tacoma PreRunner Access Cab V6 Auto 2WD, Owned 1 year.
Pros: Great truck, great looks, I have owned Toyota trucks since the mid 80's this is the best one yet. Gets 21-22 mpg city same on the highway (average speed is 80). TRD package is well worth the $$. Rides like a car and travels long distances very comfortably.
Cons: Paint scratches door handles, console not much space and opens while driving (any movement)
Overall review: You gotta love this truck, basically maintenance free (ie oil and fluids), rides very well, looks good and I will be a customer for life. Sorry American trucks you just can not stand up to this product.

The Little Engine that Could by Fank from Philadelphia on 06/16/2011. Trim: 2006 Toyota Tacoma Regular Cab 2WD, Owned 2 years.
Pros: It's dependable and low maintenance. Switching it to synthetic oil makes it even less maintenance. Has 90,000 miles on it and has had nothing done to it except routine maintenance, tires and brakes. It starts every time and has done 40,000 miles this past year without missing a beat.
Cons: The cab is small in the regular cab. The radio is not great but you can upgrade it. The 4 cylinder engine is a bit noisy.
Overall review: Overall would recommend this truck to anyone. It's had over 1000 pounds in it, can be used for basically anything and is extrememly reliable.
