Sexiness all year long by Pandemonium on 02/19/2011. Trim: 2006 Acura RSX Type-S, Owned 1 year.
Pros: Extremely unique vehicle that catches eyes. I own the '06 model with A-spec package and a few aftermarket modifications. The styling and overall look really makes this car stand out from the crowd; especially living in America where everyone owns bulky vehicles. Performance is incredible; the K20Z1 engine is unmatched for tunability. Power is nicely matched to the weight ratio. High revving fun that doesn't feel like you're driving a "ricer". With the Tein springs and Falken tires I have this beauty almost hugs the road like an AWD. Honda's VTEC system is world renowned for providing commuter mileage and shocking performance. I commute and play in the same vehicle 24/7/365.
Cons: The backseat is less like a useful backseat and more like an "all time seats down has huge cargo space" hatchback. Comfortable rear seating is only for people under the height of 5'-6" or those flexibly poised in smaller seating arrangements. Even though the Bose sound system has top-notch speakers, the receiver is sub-par for adaptability and the tape deck. By this I mean any additional sound modifications you wish to make (Bluetooth receiver, XM radio, etc...) require replacing the unit entirely.
Overall review: There's no reason you shouldn't at least drive this car once in your life. Owning it I'm incredibly happy with the performance, styling, sound system, stow area and easy access hatchback design and mileage. I'll be keeping this car forever. P.S.(Not really a con, but worth noting) A few modifications are needed ($2k+) prior to making this coupe really shine performance-wise. This is due to the unwavering quality of Honda's engineers for solid durability and resale value.

Rsx base by Alex on 10/26/2007. Trim: 2006 Acura RSX Coupe, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Good model for upgrades, when over 4k RPMs good power, design is much better than the 02-04, looks more sharp than bubbley
Cons: shift times must be exact or the motor will bog down, would have been much better if they used the 6-speed
Overall review: Very nice car, nice deep sounding motor for a 4-cyc

Another happy Type-S owner in bay area by An MSN Autos Consumer on 09/06/2006. Trim: 2006 Acura RSX Type-S, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: 1. The quick rev. engine able to compensate the lack of power at low RPM. Make the power usable in around town. 2. Great milage in this class of sport car 3. Reliable. Almost pick up the 06 GTI with their 0% clearance promotion. After reading all the VW quality issues avaliable in the web, finally give it up. 4. Quality overall is good in this price range. 5. Sharp handling with good wheel feedback. Not like GTI, the fade wheel feed back just waste the excellent engine and handle offer from this car. 6. Civic Si is great, but the styling is only aceptable if you are just pass 20s.
Cons: 1. Cheap rubber pedals and stick shift ball. Need something like what GTI offer (real metal and leather), no need to DIY to fix it. 2. Rattle noise coming from the plastic parts in the driver side dashboard - steering wheel area. The car just few days old.
Overall review: I first call the dealer in the south bay (SF bay area). They told me the last year RSX made it becomes "Collectible" car. What a world, auto dealer is good to made up any story for sale, even with the AAA sales (Internet manager). So they are firm on the MSRP. Call around with same story. Finally reach the dealer in south sunset. Asking invoice + $500 at the first place, great pick up the key from them. Not the best deal from reading after post but fairs to me. So doing your homework when buying car does pay off.
