Best car I've ever owned.
by Ralph from Hartville on 07/10/2012.
Trim: 2006 Toyota Camry LE, Owned 6 years.
1
Pros:
Low maintanence, good mileage, nice ride. Best car I've ever owned.
Cons:
Wish it had bluetooth & mp3 player hookup (things that didn't exist when the car was new).
Overall review:
Bought new in 2006. Over 130k miles. Most dependable car I've ever owned. Still on 1st set of replacement tires. Replaced front brakes this spring. Other than that, the only maintanence has been to replace the o2 sensor. Always get over 30 mpg, 38 on long highway trips. Still rides very nice.

Near ultimate Gas guzzler
by dan on 08/03/2011.
Trim: 2006 Toyota Camry XLE V6, Owned 5 years.
1
Pros:
Maintenance free at 41k miles and great comfortable ride on local streets and highway.
Cons:
Average 15 miles / gallon w/ 3.0L engine; might be more cost effective in cost / miles w/ a 4 cylinder.
original 94V tires with expected wear of 50k wears down @ 40k.
Overall review:
consider an alternative car as gas prices continue to rise near or beyond the money you can afford to operate the car.

by An MSN Autos Consumer on 09/23/2006.
Trim: 2006 Toyota Camry XLE V6, Owned less than 1 year.
1
Pros:
Seats are very comfortable on long trips. Like the rear sunshade.
Cons:
Gas pedal is way too touchy, feels like the transmission is always shifting. Problems with the sun roof not closing. Some of the molding fell off and had to be retaped.Poor gas mileage not even close to what it is should be getting.
Overall review:
This was the first Toyota I have owned and will be the last, not happy with this car.
