Great fun to drive by JT Ft. Walton Beach, Fl on 02/23/2012. Trim: 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT, Owned 4 years.
Pros: plenty of power and torque. looks great. fast uphill. 6 speed transmission.
Cons: turning radius is a bit wide. seats are a little narrow.
Overall review: i think this is the best road car i ever had. corners tight and sits down on the open road at around 75mph to where it is extremely sensitive to the touch.

Wanna Race by Fast Rog on 09/07/2007. Trim: 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT, Owned 1 year.
Pros: I own a black with grey leather GT Special Edition. Love the styling, a lot of eye candy to drive. This is my 3rd Eclipse and by far my best. I owned a 98' Black GS and a Black 2001 Dodge Stratus RT Coupe. Listen folks, this is an Eclipse cloaked in a Dodge body. The handling of my GT around curves is great, the torgue leaves most cars in the dust not that I'm a street racer ~wink~ and the sound from the exhaust will turn some heads. It's not as loud as a Mustang GT but it's close. It's very comfortable to drive and very city friendly to drive around town. Oh, need I forget about that ear shattering stereo (love it, love it).
Cons: Well, as we all know the turning ratio is that of a mack truck and you have to get adjusted to the blind spots pulling out into the street using that small rear side rear window and backing up while parking is a little nerve racking. I wish Mitsubishi would also consider dual exhaust for this bad boy going forward.
Overall review: If you are looking for a reasonably priced front drive sporty coupe that is the best looking thing out there, than without a doubt the Eclipse is the car to drive. It's competitors the Pontiac G6 GTP...yes I said GTP comes close but is a bit conservative and not near as exciting. The new Altima SE 3.5 will be a real challenger but I look at those buyers as being the type that don't want a cushy G35 and looking for something a little more raw and cheaper. The styling of the Altima is nice but still a little on the conservative side. I will enjoy the heck out of my GT for quite some time, I still get goose bumps everytime I start that beautiful engine and listen to that sound. Oh yes, I am loud with it and love to accelerate past cars and folks showing off the power. Watch out Mustang GT, I may not give you your props anymore...kidding

Driving Machine by EclipseEnthusiast on 11/07/2013. Trim: 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT, Owned 7 years.
Pros: I love how it drives, very quick and handles great, and the ride quality is very good, very fun car. Plenty of power and torque, easy to get going way over the speed limit... leave it at that.
Cons: The stock wheel gaps and the fact is doesnt have an aux inout but there is an aux inout function on the stock radio (Rockford Fosgate)
Overall review: Very fun car, i love every minute i drive it. It looks good and rides very well. I would definitely recommend people to buy this car. The 3.8L V6 not only performs well but it sounds amazing. I have a friend with a Turbocharged SRT-4 and he always talks about how much better my car sounds than his

Excellent sportscar by Need for Speed.. on 10/24/2013. Trim: 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: I have been in love with this body style of the Eclipse since it was introduced in 06. I never thought I'd actually be driving one until I recently started looking around for used cars. Picked up the 06 GT with 53K miles. I couldn't be happier! It is everything I thought it would be. The handling is amazing and the acceleration is incredible. I had an aftermarket stereo with a 12" sub in my last car, but with the 650W Rockford Fosgate stereo in the Eclipse, I will not need to upgrade. I purchased and installed the AUX cable that allows you to hook up an ipod so the stereo is virtually future proof unless the speakers blow. The blue interior lighting is very sporty and a very nice touch.
Cons: All the reviews say it... Blind Spots! Backing up the car definitely takes some getting used to and you have to be careful. Other than that, I haven't had any problems.
Overall review: I try to find any excuse I can to drive this car. I love being in it, and I love admiring it's exterior.

Very nice car for a good price. by NewAgeTesla from Houston, Texas on 07/30/2013. Trim: 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: The car has a great amount of power in the 3.8L 6cyl and pulls very well in all gears. I love the Rockford Fosgate sound system in the car as well. Traction control is a life saver in the rain with how much power it puts down to the front wheels.
Cons: Car does dive/roll a bit into corners at 20mph after driving it for a few years.
Overall review: I have owned this car for about 6 months now, bought it used with 70k miles, but I am very pleased with the overall performance and handling of the car. My friends all love to ride in it also. Some people might call it a "chick car" but they quickly change their minds after feeling how the 6-speed really puts the power to the wheels.
