A costly vehicle by An MSN Autos Consumer on 07/31/2012. Owned 6 years.
Pros: It rides, brakes, and tows nice. It is comfortable.
Cons: I am on my 3rd radiator ($750.00 each) and just replaced the air conditioner compressor/dryer for $775.00 at 92,000 miles. My local mechanics gave me a computer print-out stating a radiator problem with this model. They asked me to take this and the vehicle to an authorized Ford dealer to have the computer reprogrammed for the radiator. The information contained a recommended computer setting. After looking at the information, the repair "salesman" says there has been only one radiator problem at their dealership. Lucky me! I asked him how radiators replacements would it take..4, 5..? No response. My floor shifter also froze early on and had to be replaced. On the 15 MPG side.
Overall review: It contains very annoying costly issues that I would prefer to use the money elsewhere. Because of this, I would give it a 3.
