To much money for the PROBLEMS by Old Vet from Seattle, where it rains, on 12/15/2012. Trim: 2006 Cadillac SRX V6, Owned 4 years.
Pros: Styling and handling is great
Cons: Cadillac SRX 2006, I Own this poorly Engineered piece, Only Cadillac that has to have the Front Bumper Drooped in order to change the Head Lamps and I might say the lamps do not go out at the same time, Dealer cost $185.00 plus parts to have them changed Lamps went out five thousand miles apart starting at 50,000 , Seals on roof had to be installed three times do to the improper installation each time . Dealers do not want to talk about the problem, trade for a Lexus, no wonder we bailed these none engineering flakes out . Did not mention 17" wheels in the front with 18" wheels in the rear for the rake look, Only room for one spare , your choice, what a bunch of boofoons.
Overall review: Nice looks and comfortable ride, We drove from Orlando to Seattle two times -. Nav system ok, along with all touch steering wheel,

My Best Car Ever by GEM from Tucson on 07/10/2012. Trim: 2006 Cadillac SRX V8, Owned 7 years.
Pros: I love everything about my 2006 SRX.
Cons: Servicing it is more expensive than other cars.
Overall review: I am the original owner and it didn't cost me any money (except standard services like oil change, battery, etc) until 75,000 miles. It is comfortable, good highway mileage, and great pickup with the 320 HP engine.

cost of repairs may drive you over the edge by lisa on 06/19/2012. Trim: 2006 Cadillac SRX V6, Owned 2 years.
Pros: bought 2006 2 years ago , put almost 6,000 into fixing it already. Coils went, power steering rack went wheel bearings went, rear nozzle broke, engine check light comes on all tthe time, cannot operate rear door by using master switch, had to shut off traction control because it would engage when making a sharp turn or going over small bumps. Its been a Real pleasure owning this piece of junk. 2006 srx.
Cons: see above .

Speed power and relaxing cruise! by Caddy Maddy of western New York reviewed 2011 and still no way would I trade in! on 07/13/2011. Trim: 2006 Cadillac SRX V6, Owned 3 years.
Pros: Power response, great pickup for passing, steering response fast or slow is like it changes to fit your speed, so it's almost impossible to over steer or jerk everyone out of their seat. Overall visibilty is great, sunroof or better yet, skylight is amasingly large for a big wide open feeling with a roof shade that can block the sun and when closed and all windows are rolled up the rest of the world is blocked out and it feels like your snug in your own little world without a sound from a passing 70 mph semi getting in. Rear power air control with four adjustible roof air outlets. Nice interior look and feel with easy clean comfortible leather.
Cons: While their is plenty of sitting room anywhere in the vehicle for elbow room and stretching out for an inside big feel and the drivers compartment is well laid out with compartments and cupholders they seemed to forget now and then there would be a passenger or two. The only place they dropped the ball on this vehicle and lost the Cadillac rep and feel is in amentities for passengers, with only a glove box and a front door popout compartment theres not much in the way of storeage or places to set things.
Overall review: I have the 06 rear wheel drive V6 without the rear seat package. When first sittng in this vehicle at the showroom I felt as though the vehicle and I had just melded together as one! Once setting the seat, I may be average? 180lb 5'-10'', I had to move the seat up to about the middle of the adjustment range, leaveing plenty of adjustment range, big or small this vehicle will fit anyone like it was made just for you! Handling is amazingly responsive from the touch of the fuel peddle to hands on the steering wheel. From a slow easy take off, to a stomp on it and go, which unlike my 82 coupe, the SRX gets up and goes from a stomp on the peddle well before your foot hits the floor, your already gone, bye bye! On a Sunday drive the steering is stiff to the touch but easy to turn and once done with your Sunday drive and on the highway heading home the steering is like your rideing on air. From the stiff easy touch to floating on air this vehicle gives you a solid feel to the road.
