Decent Small SUV by Rick from Ft. Carson, CO on 06/20/2011. Trim: 2006 Chevrolet Equinox LT AWD, Owned 2 years.
5
Pros: The car is practical, decent gas-mileage, good on road-trips, great family car, very decent small SUV/Crossover.
Cons: Issues with the breaks, horrible with hauling stuff, even if it's just 500lbs. you feel the lack of power. Issues with the starter.
Overall review: good car as long as you still have bumper-to-bumper warranty

Good Choice by An MSN Autos Consumer on 03/12/2013. Trim: 2006 Chevrolet Equinox LS, Owned 5 years.
2
Pros: Excellent gas mileage, comfortable, easy to get in and out of, 165000 miles and going strong. The right amount of features on the interior.
Cons: Wipers need more speeds, only two settings. They could of done better.
Overall review: Constant mid 20's per gallon. The 3.4 offers quick acceleration and decent millage. Looking for another 100k.

Overall review: Bought used, but all in all has been pretty dependable.

PIECE OF JUNK by Maura on 06/24/2013. Trim: 2006 Chevrolet Equinox LS, Owned 1 year.
1
Pros: roomy in the back.
Cons: DO NOT BUY THIS CAR. Our head gasket just blew and after doing a little research, I have realized this is a HUGE issue with this car around 75-80k miles. GM should recall this vehicle because of the humber of issues. I am so unhappy with GM and will never ever buy another one as long as I live. Hondas only from now on.
Overall review: I would not buy this car if I were you!

GOOD TRUCK FOR THE MONEY! by oleg1981 on 11/08/2012. Trim: 2006 Chevrolet Equinox LS, Owned 6 years.
1
Pros: have it for 200000km. mostly city driving. had no problems! only thing changed the front hubs on 150000km. and that's pretty much it. the gas mileage for such a car is pretty good to. in the city im getting about 11-12l on 100km.
Cons: the seats are not super comfortable and after 3-4 hours of driving the back starts to numb.
Overall review: did ot had any problems with this car. do you're regular maintenance and you will not have any problems with this car.
