Loved it but have to leave it!
by greeneyelady50 from San Antonio on 05/12/2012.
Owned 6 years.

Pros:
Love this van, roomy, easy to drive, but mechanical problems on front end bad. Have replaced outer tie rods 4 times. Clunks horribly when undercarriage gets wet. Transmission going out at 174,000 miles. Except for replacing battery and outer tie rods, and one brake part I loved this van and having had the steering worked on three times, this would have been a great vehicle. I kept it for 6 years... Just wish it didn't have some many problems in the steering and front end.
Cons:
Front end, steering, outer tie rods and clunking sound when under carriage gets wet.
Overall review:
Kept it going!

PERFECT VAN FOR YOUNG FAMILY
by MOM on 04/19/2007.
Trim: 2006 Chevrolet Uplander LT FWD Extended Wheelbase 2LT, Owned 1 year.

Pros:
NICE DRIVING, VERY SMOOTH AND PEPPY. NICE ACCESSORIES(dvd,cd,wireless headphones)
Cons:
ONE OF MY POWER SLIDING DOORS HAS A MIND OF IT'S OWN...HAVE HAD IT IN TO BE WORKED ON SEVERAL TIMES WITH NO LUCK YET. EITHER THE MIDDLE BUCKET SEATS DON'T FOLD BECAUSE OF SIDE AIRBAGS IN THEM OR I CAN'T GET THEM TO.
Overall review:
NICE VAN WOULD RECOMMEND TO FAMILY WITH SMALL CHILDREN...TEENS MAY HAVE A HARD TIME GETTING TO THIRD SEAT. GREAT FUEL MILAGE 20 AND 25 (IN NC MTNS) GREAT PRICE (I GOT A PROGRAM VAN)

Keep looking
by RZ form GR on 03/13/2006.
Trim: 2006 Chevrolet Uplander LT FWD Extended Wheelbase 1LT, Owned less than 1 year.
1
Pros:
nice front dash and interior styling with contrasting leather and stitching
Cons:
2nd row seats are awful-bulky and very tough to remove
Only auto on the road that has a roof rack with no cross supports (they are an extra option)
Handling a little cumbersome
Overall review:
If Chevy (GM) would borrow a page from their competitors and engineer "stow and go" and complete the roof rack this would be a wonderful vehicle

Good gas mileage
by H Brown on 04/27/2013.
Trim: 2006 Chevrolet Uplander LT AWD Extended Wheelbase 3LT, Owned 7 years.
Useful?
Pros:
I have own this vehicle for 7 years, mileage is great and very little I have had to do with it. I travel in this van a lot so the ride, room, and gas mileage is a plus. Had a caravan before and it was junk transmission went out early on.
Cons:
The van does have a problem with the abs sensor light coming on at 100,000 or more. Also some have had the transmission at around
175.000 but hey what do you except from a high mileage.
Overall review:
Would recommend this as a van for travel and low mileage and to save money
