Very nice highway vehicle by Alex Victoria on 01/24/2010. Trim: 2006 Subaru B9 Tribeca 5-Passenger, Owned 4 years.
Pros: Ride, Comfort, Fuel consumption. Great highway car.
Cons: Visibility because of pillars and smallish mirrors. Poor visibility for backing up. No idea where the front or rear bumpers are in relation to walls or objects. Back up camera is now available. Awkward to park between lines in a parking lot because of distance from driver to windsheild and drooping hoodline. It is also a little "sluggish" because of the 3.0 litre engine and a two ton vehicle.
Overall review: I have been very satisfied with this vehicle and the service at the local Subaru dealer.

Nice car...poor interior appointments" by Joe D....Va. Beach on 04/13/2006. Trim: 2006 Subaru B9 Tribeca Limited 7-Passenger, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Beautiful styling..(almost...the rear needs some help) too generic looking.....The dashis almost "cockpit" appearance, I love it.
Cons: The 3rd row of seats is a "JOKE"...y bother putting them in..( and try to get into them...ya can't.............................The radio is a real loser...you would think that for a top of the line SUBARU, they would install a decent radio...The pick up is very sluggish...LO'S OF RPM NOISE..BUT YA DON'T ACCELARATE....WOULD NOT BUY THIS CAR HAD i KNOWN OF THOSE FAULTS.
Overall review: Get a "MURANO"...lot's of pickup...great radio...great ride.."Sorry I traded mine in"!

Timing Chains break - No support from Subaru by ob108 Rembert SC on 06/20/2013. Trim: 2006 Subaru B9 Tribeca 5-Passenger, Owned 7 years.
Pros: Best winter driving vehicle I ever drove. Coolest nose on a car period. Drives like it is on rails considering the cross over nature of the platform.
Cons: This comment is dated, but I was looking for a recall notice. While your story is not a good one, here is one better. Less than 84000 miles on it when the timing chain fails. That cause the cam gear to fail and the dealer says they don't replace timing chains they replace motrs if they fail Scary I thought. I fix it and $2400 lighter it was running again only to find out that the main bearing was damaged and cannot be fixed. That's why the replace motors. You would think that Subaru would stand behind one of their most expensive models. Nope I am on my own. To them I thank them for eduacating me that I will never trust them again.
Overall review: I would have bought this car over and over again if Subaru stood behind the car and the engine. I doubt seriously that this break is commonplace which is why I thought they would try to fix it.
