Still Strong by RT from NJ on 06/02/2010. Trim: 2005 Nissan Frontier SE Crew Cab 4WD, Owned 5 years.
Pros: I have owned this truck for 5 years. I have over 140,000 miles and it is going as strong as when new. It is large enough to haul what I need, but small enough for city driving and parking. It tows my camper (4000#) with ease with its strong engine and torque. Very comfortable driving position, plenty of storage inside/outside, love the factory bed liner and clete system. Overall fit and finish are durable and with regular maintenence has been steady as a rock.
Cons: The cloth seats show some wear and tear along the edges even early on, paint on the body scratches very easily, both lock assemblies on the front driver/passenger doors had to be replaced 2x each (doors wouldn't close and drained battery a number of times)
Overall review: Overall, I highly reccomend this vehicle. Strong, sturdy and reliable. And very good looking in my opinion. I have the Red Alert and still smile at it in my driveway every morning.

Best Truck for the Buck! Remember,Dogs love trucks! by One fast frontier... on 02/26/2010. Trim: 2005 Nissan Frontier SE Crew Cab 2WD, Owned 5 years.
Pros: Great power and big truck feel. Crew cab has plenty of room and comfort. Ride comfort is also good for a lite truck.Seating is far better than a Ford or Chevy. Interior layout is good with all controls located within easy reach. Very capable off road with good ground clearance. Outstanding towing performance when properly equipped.Low wind noise from the interior and has a very solid feel when on rough roads. You don't seem to get as tired driving on long trips as you would in other lite trucks.Seems Nissan listen to it' followers and gave us a great truck.
Cons: Stock tires were not so great, change to b.f.goodrich long trails and made a huge diffence.Replaced driver side master window switch shortly after purchase.Replaced front rotors and pads (aftermarket) as stock rotors kept warping.Had minor rattles from body that should have been corrected before purchase.Knobs for heater controls feel cheap and loose but have preformed well. Need bigger mirrors for towing.Better gas mileage would be nice.Average 19mpg.
Overall review: Would buy another and recommend it to a friend.Having owned two other nissan pickups this is by far the best one yet.
