Love my Kia
by LCH from Michigan on 01/27/2009.
Trim: 2005 Kia Amanti Sedan, Owned 2 years.
1
Pros:
This car has all the features that you would find in a much more expensive car.
great looks, smooth quiet ride.
Cons:
If I have to come up with a con it would be the gas mileage.
Overall review:
This car is a joy to drive, the ride is pure luxury, from the instrument panel to the heated seats with lower lumbar support.
After checking out the competition there was no comparison even the price was better then the rest of the cars in its field.

Interior luxery
by Liz Carr from Ohio on 08/08/2007.
Trim: 2005 Kia Amanti Sedan, Owned 2 years.

Pros:
I love my Kia. The interior is complete comfort. It has all the luxeries of a lexus without the price. Safety features are above average. I especially liked dimming of headlight shine at night in the mirrors. Dashboard lights are awesome.
Cons:
Only cons for me so far, is say valvoline oil change, they never have my filters or anything in stock for a kia. This has happened more than once. Gas mileage should be much better, than what i get.
Overall review:
9.5

A great car that for whatever reason they have stopped making.
by trafeling gal that loves her Amanti. on 04/27/2013.
Trim: 2005 Kia Amanti Sedan, Owned 7 years.
Useful?
Pros:
I bought this car with 24,000 miles on it, I made a 4 hour commute for at least 5 years and it is still running great. I have had a few minor problems but if I had to do it over I would certainly buy another.
Cons:
I didn't like the fact that it has two heaters and when my drivers side heater went out KiA and the other major dealerships really tried to over charge me, But hey I am a woman who was on her own and when I had my friend take a look it cost me little of nothing to have it fixed.
Overall review:
I am just sorry they quit making this model.. I had a Mercedes prior to this car and I love this one much more.

Love my Amanti!
by AirBear from Atlanta on 12/06/2012.
Trim: 2005 Kia Amanti Sedan, Owned less than 1 year.
Useful?
Pros:
Love the styling, smooth ride, plenty of standard options you would pay extra for in another car. Great on long road trips. Doesn't have that "Plastic' interior feel that other cars have. Feels solidy built.
Cons:
Occasional shuddering when driving on the highway, still trying to figure that one out (I suspect it's the transmission) Gas milage could be better. Side view mirrors don't behave like they should, always having to adjust them. Entire sound system goes hay-wire in cold weather after starting it first thing in the morning. Corrects itself once the interior of the car has had time to warm up.
Overall review:
Other than whatever negative things I posted, I still love this car. One has to realize that EVERY car has it quirks and problems. People need to quit being so winey about trivial things. Other than that I love this car!

Transmission died at 64K miles
by Mt Lebanon Resident on 11/30/2012.
Trim: 2005 Kia Amanti Sedan, Owned 6 years.
Useful?
Pros:
1. Looks elegant
2. smooth (most of time)
3. spacious
Cons:
1. Gas monster, extremely poor mileage on local roads (around 12 mpg)
2. erratic transmission
Overall review:
The car was generally reliably and provides smooth ride. I am the second owner and soon after warranty expired, the transmission died on my way to office. When I drove over a small hill, the car lost power all of the sudden, then I had it towed to dealer and they said shaft broke transmission case.
