The best choice. Makes me smile all the time. by Codemonkey from Florida on 05/15/2006. Trim: 2005 Kia Optima LX V6, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros: Performance, handling, roomy interior, nice looking, safety features with 6 airbags, unbeatable warrenty, and most of all, "PRICE".
Cons: A little wind noise from the front windows when driving fast. It doesn't bother me though. However I gave 9 points for quality because of this.
Overall review: This has the best value. I got it at really cheap price, at around $12000 includiung tax. Though it was a rental car and had 22000 miles on it for a one-year old car but it was a still fantastic car. I didn't know that a Kia is this good. What a nice surprise.

"Impressive and Distinctive" by Musselman from PEI,Canada on 09/08/2005. Trim: 2005 Kia Optima LX, Owned less than 1 year.
1
Pros: Distinctive styling(you can't tell most mid-size apart nowadays) and appears to be solidly built. Comfortable and quality interior. Smooth ride and responsive handling. Costs thousand$$ less than comparable competitors. Impressive warranty.
Cons: Mostly minor stuff. Center console needs improvement(space and armrest. 4 CYL economical but could use about 15HP more. Headlights seem a bit weak. Could use upgrade of grill and nameplate(KIA is just too bland compared with other automakers distinctive symbolism). As with most others... rapid depreciation.
Overall review: I would recommend this vehicle for anyone who wants distinctive styling, quality, comfort, engineering, and better warranty for thousands less than it's Asian competitors. Kia and Hyundai are working harder than their competition in my view.

Definitely a No-brainer!! Buy this car!!! by Happy in Chattanooga on 09/03/2005. Trim: 2005 Kia Optima LX, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros: Awesome. Couldn't be happier. Traded in my Honda Accord for better gas mileage, comfort, and room. Styling is classy. Feel like I spent a whole lot more. Great job Kia!
Cons: All models should get keyless entry! Going to local sound shop to get one installed with a remote starter, though; problem solved.
Overall review: Excellent car for the money.
