Pros: The overall package is perfect- handling, steering, acceleration all come together in harmony. Driving it in the mountains is pure pleasure.
Cons: Nothing- except my wife doen't like her hair getting toussled.
Overall review: I bought this car used 7 months ago. I look forward to driving it every chance I get. It seems like a small car but sitting in it I have plenty of room and driving all day in the mountains never leaves me feeling cramped. The car isn't too fast or too slow, it isn't too harsh or too soft, everything about the car comes together perfectly. I get about 32mpg driving it to work and home. A little less when playing on the weekends. One modification that I did as soon as I got the car- upgraded sway bars. They took the last bit of body roll out of the car and made it perfect for mountain curves.

Square Wheels by An MSN Autos Consumer on 07/16/2007. Trim: 2005 Mazda MX-5 Miata LS, Owned 2 years.
Pros: Style, History, Simplicity, Handling, Manual Transmission
Cons: Wheel balance issues
Overall review: This vehicle had no less than 17 warranty visits for the same issues over and over and over... the wheels just simply were not able to be balanced. Super special balance machines made it ALMOST tolerable, but the solutions that the dealer had were less than good. All of the wheels and tires were replaced one by one, and yet the car still felt like it had at least one square wheel. Mazda refused to buy it back. The technicians told me that they felt the only thing that could be causing it was that some part of the chassis was not properly welded or aligned. That sounds safe doesn't it? I ended up selling it at a loss to get rid of it. Bummer. It was my second Miata, and I thought it could replace my beloved 1994! No such luck.

MX-5 Mazdaspeed by Jerry Port Huron on 07/24/2005. Trim: 2005 Mazda MX-5 Miata MAZDASPEED, Owned 1 year.
Pros: The Mazdaspeed version handles as good or better than the earlier years with its agressive upgrades. Multi-purpose car! Race, top down cruiser, and show car. What a value!
Cons: Typical Miata tight interior. Not bad if you know how to use it!
Overall review: Best all around sport car!
