Pros:
Roomy interior.
Kid-friendly leather
Cons:
Ate tires for breakfast.
Replaced radio unit at 35K.
Drives divine, very hard to maintain.
I will say this once: Get extended warranty.
Overall review:
This BMW is only one I have owned that could not stay away from the service department from 50K to 100K.

3rd BMW and this is the best.
by Road Rage on 09/25/2008.
Trim: 2005 BMW 525i Sedan, Owned 1 year.

Pros:
Incredible handling, braking and speed. Be careful, this car likes to go Autobahn fast on American highways.
Cons:
I did not trade in my last BMW earlier to get this one.
Overall review:
Outstanding car that is in the great tradition of BMW road cars. This is not your mother's grocery getter and should not be confused with that. It truly is the ultimate driving machine.

Is It The Ultimate ?.......well maybe
by An MSN Autos Consumer on 08/25/2006.
Trim: 2005 BMW 525i Sedan, Owned 2 years.

Pros:
performance, its very easy to say.......BMW. the cars quality has always been in question but, it has been holding up for the 2 years ive had it. the car is at the same time a great looker....and kinda....? well i don't get. but i find it over all attractive. i have been getting over 33mpg.
Cons:
the back windows failed after 2 mon and the doors make funny crunking sounds at speeds below 50mph. all i do is clean up the window frame and it makes it alittle better. i can only fuel it up with 91!
Overall review:
i give this car a recommendation. the money game is easy to play with on a bmw... it has a price tag of over $47,000, but its easy to lease it and no cost oil change for 4 years
