Multi purpose vehicle by on the go mom on 11/21/2008. Trim: 2005 Toyota Sienna LE 7-Passenger, Owned 3 years.
Pros: roominess, versatility, smooth ride, safety features
Cons: lower gears slip when shifting, brakes grab sometimes. Sliding doors rattle. The vehicle has been in for servicing several times but the problem s have yet to be resolved. This is actually the 2nd van, had so many problems with my 2004 that dealership agreed to give me a good deal on the trade in
Overall review: I've never been as satisfied with this van as with my first Toyota van, the Previa, a definite difference in quality.

The Dream Car by uzi from Ontario on 11/02/2008. Trim: 2005 Toyota Sienna CE 8-Passenger, Owned 3 years.
Pros: It's a very smooth ride, comfortable for all. It's brakes and accelleration are ouitstanding.
Cons: The sienna is such a creative car and it's very big and losing somthing inside of it can be a hassle.
Overall review: overall i would say it is a valuable car thats not so expensive with brakes that wont let you down. The car can heat the inside of itself in no more than a minuite. It's stylish smooth and sufficiant, perfect for any trip.

Nice minivan but NO... by Sienna--The Dealer Magnet on 05/30/2008. Trim: 2005 Toyota Sienna XLE AWD, Owned 3 years.
Pros: The interior is first rated in its class. Driving the Sienna feels like you're driving a luxury car--handling and performance is awesome. Lots of room on the third row seat for my two kids.
Cons: The constant visit to the dealership which surely depletes my bank account. 1)The heated seat burnt out and should be replaced. 2) The occassional engine warning signal keeps on appearing every month. At first, dealer said never to get a gas at Costco since it has all the added residue in the fuel (just a BS I thought since my other car never got a problem with it). They have to change the catalytic converter, the gasket, now they want to replace the O2 (forgot the exact term) that supplies gas to the catalytic converter. 3) Also, the 30,000 all wheel tire replacement--about $900+. Average gas mileage at 18.1miles/gallon. All this adds up of course.
Overall review: Overall the car drives great and has the handling of a luxury car. The drawbacks which is the constant visit to the dealership far outweighs the finer points of this vehicle. I would consider looking at other more reliable minivans around. Stay away from this minivan!

Not worth the money!!! by Ron Jackson Hts. New York on 06/12/2006. Trim: 2005 Toyota Sienna XLE Limited AWD, Owned 1 year.
Pros: The sound system is good, but could be better. It's roomy. Haven't had any problems with run flat tires.
Cons: I have this minivan for a year now. After 7 months of use, I started hearing knocking sound in the engine. Brought it back to the dealer, of course they can't hear any knocking sound. I don't know if I'm the only one having this problem. I only use premium grade gasoline becuase that's what the manufacturer recommends. They used so many plastic components inside this vehicle, right now every thing is rottling. The ride is quite rough I think its because of the run flat tires.
Overall review: Not worth the money. The dealer around Jackson Hts., New York needs a lot of improvement helping their customer. I felt like they don't want to fix the vehicle while its still under warranty.

Poor Quality. by Reviewer on 01/01/2006. Trim: 2005 Toyota Sienna CE 7-Passenger, Owned 1 year.
Pros: Japanese Brand name.
Cons: Poor tires, poor radiators, and malfunction sliding doors.
Overall review: I am totally disappointed. The no-flat tires is expensive to replace. They don't last very long 5000km is almost times to replace. I have change my radiators after 1800km. Taken my van back to dealership a few times to fix my remote sliding door but it still not open all the times. Do not buy this van, try other makes.
