Multi purpose vehicle by on the go mom on 11/21/2008. Trim: 2005 Toyota Sienna LE 7-Passenger, Owned 3 years.

Pros: roominess, versatility, smooth ride, safety features
Cons: lower gears slip when shifting, brakes grab sometimes. Sliding doors rattle. The vehicle has been in for servicing several times but the problem s have yet to be resolved. This is actually the 2nd van, had so many problems with my 2004 that dealership agreed to give me a good deal on the trade in
Overall review: I've never been as satisfied with this van as with my first Toyota van, the Previa, a definite difference in quality.

Nice minivan but NO... by Sienna--The Dealer Magnet on 05/30/2008. Trim: 2005 Toyota Sienna XLE AWD, Owned 3 years.

Pros: The interior is first rated in its class. Driving the Sienna feels like you're driving a luxury car--handling and performance is awesome. Lots of room on the third row seat for my two kids.
Cons: The constant visit to the dealership which surely depletes my bank account. 1)The heated seat burnt out and should be replaced. 2) The occassional engine warning signal keeps on appearing every month. At first, dealer said never to get a gas at Costco since it has all the added residue in the fuel (just a BS I thought since my other car never got a problem with it). They have to change the catalytic converter, the gasket, now they want to replace the O2 (forgot the exact term) that supplies gas to the catalytic converter. 3) Also, the 30,000 all wheel tire replacement--about $900+. Average gas mileage at 18.1miles/gallon. All this adds up of course.
Overall review: Overall the car drives great and has the handling of a luxury car. The drawbacks which is the constant visit to the dealership far outweighs the finer points of this vehicle. I would consider looking at other more reliable minivans around. Stay away from this minivan!

A really good car except for a poor customer support! by Alex on 12/15/2005. Trim: 2005 Toyota Sienna LE 7-Passenger, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros: The room! Good handling!
Cons: Parts are not immediately available! I have waited for two months before Toyota was able to provide the needed part for my 2005 Sienna!
Overall review: If parts are available, I will really recommend the car!

The best all around vehicle there is by dsharris Madras, OR on 01/25/2012. Trim: 2005 Toyota Sienna LE 7-Passenger, Owned 8 years.
Useful?
Pros: The seating is excellent. We really like how versatile the van is, from carrying 7 passengers, to carrying 3-4 and lots of storage, to carrying 2 and we can fit a double air mattress and sleep in the back. With the extra deep area behind the third row seat we can hold A LOT of luggage and still have 7 people. We bough our van new in December of 2004.
Cons: We have had only VERY minor repairs. The rear hatch hydraulics went out, but the Toyota shop replaced them for $50.
Overall review: Our is FWD and we have done really well with just studded tires in the winter and cross the snowy mountains and have snow in our area often. It has been a dependable, and all around fantastic van. It has plenty of cup holders and bars to hold on, which is especially nice for older friends pulling themselves in and out. Oh yes, and the turn ratio on this van can't be beat. You would think it is so long it would be horrible to turn around, but it was better than our smaller Buick Regal.
