Pros: comfort. My 73 year old arthritic hips lets me drive all day. good engine and trans. smooth as an electric engine when accelerating. cannot feel it shift.
Cons: day light running lights and perhaps fog lights should be standard.
Overall review: my first suv. now i know why there are so many on the road. room and comfort.

Helicopter? by Mike from NC on 11/09/2004. Trim: 2005 Toyota Highlander Limited V6 2WD, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros: Good ride, smooth. Handles good. good power.
Cons: Can't roll down back window only. Causes a air imbalance that sounds like you have a helicopter in the vehicle. Will hurt ear drums.
Overall review: Other than above, vehicle is a good buy. Just as long as you don't need to roll down back window only.

Reliable car at a reasonable price by North Carolina Girl on 07/23/2006. Trim: 2005 Toyota Highlander V6 2WD, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros: Easy of handling, great power with decent gas mileage for an SUV.
Cons: I think Toyota needs to start making their interior better looking. They seem to focus on the mechanical parts (which is the most important) however they are sub-par when it comes to the interior.
Overall review: I think this is a really great SUV. Some people keep complaining that there isn't a trip meter on it, but there is. You have to push the button where the odometer is to switch screen. If you read the manual it help you find some great features on the car.

"ULTIMATE SUV" by Neil from Mass on 11/17/2004. Trim: 2005 Toyota Highlander 4WD, Owned less than 1 year.
1
Pros: Everything! I love the car like ride, the way it handles. The quiet inside cabin, the interior. The braking is awesome! The gas mileage is great I got the 4 cly and I have no regrets. The car has plenty of power. the whole design is GREAT!!
Cons: I found nothing wrong with it. I just love it!
Overall review: After researching & test driving alot of suv's I kept coming back to the Highlander. It was the best move money wise & Toyota's reputation helped. But besides test driving it & loving it the dealership they were so great. No pressure.
