"Luxury for less" by An MSN Autos Consumer on 11/02/2009. Trim: 2005 Volvo S60 2.5T, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Accelleration, Handling, Safety, Quality, Excellent ride, all make it a close competetor with BMW, Mercedes and Lexus.
Cons: It turns very wide so you have to be careful in parking lots, backseat leg room is cramped, green controls are hard to see in sunlight, and braking could be better.
Overall review: Very high quality car. Definitely not the last Volvo I will own. Driving it is amazing. Overall I highly reccomend it. Its not as expensive as a Lexus or BMW but just as nice.

Smooth. by The Dude on 02/15/2006. Trim: 2005 Volvo S60 T5, Owned 1 year.
Pros: Seats are comfortable, great sound system, and it looks great.
Cons: Back seat is small, turning radius is diarrhea, and too many small problems (rattle from trim and speakers).
Overall review: Nice car.

Its a fast ONE! by Anthony from San Diego, CA on 09/06/2010. Trim: 2005 Volvo S60 R, Owned 1 year.
Pros: Powerful engine (almost to powerful, first week got ticket going 93 mph on the onramp). Cops don't think to give it a look, it does not seem like the speeder it is plus its extra quite. Good on price compared to similar sedans. Blue gauges (sold me on the sedan) complement aluminum finish. Xenon headlights give it a better look and driver had a clearer view. Comfortable for long trips. Love the Active Chassis System, great on windy roads or just messing around. AWD holds the car to the road even in the snow storm. Huge trunk, little help devices everywhere (parking clip, jacket pin, 6 cup holders). All seats have a sport cup to them, just feels good!
Cons: Never could believe a car had such a bad turning radius(3 and 4 point turns!)! Front bumper is so low it hits everything(every time I pull in and out of work). Entire car is low, hits speed bumps on underbelly. Front tires hit inner walls when turning(if turning radius could be any worse). Radio had a mind of its own, had it replaced. BRAKES squeak constantly(factory or not). A few blind spots. Had an oil leak, needed new gaskets. Needs better high beams for dark roads. Hits every little animal on the road(coyote jump in front and obliterated passenger fog light).
Overall review: Pretty good sedan, lots of fun to drive and extremely safe even in harsh conditions. Royal blue gauges was a seller! The engine has a good sound to it whenever you hit the gas. Not the best MPG averages 18.1 but not bad. It gets 2nd looks all the time and people complement it all the time. Great for business trips, my boss loves it. The "R" is a completely different car then the S60 although it shares the body it does not share much else. Big rims, body trim, and low stance give it a unique look. Watch out for anything low including pine cones!!!! Although there are many cons it still is a good car and did not cost to much to fix. Encourage people to take it for a drive, it sold me in a second!
