Great vehicle
by Tom on 02/25/2005.
Trim: 2005 Toyota Land Cruiser 4WD, Owned 1 year.

Pros:
A feeling of total trust when I start it up, it has the feeling of quality and a sense it will go anywhere I have the nerve to take it
Cons:
Not enough lumbar support, and would prefer that I control the heating of the seats as to back or bottom
Overall review:
Quality thoughout

Best ratio quality/price
by An MSN Autos Consumer on 05/25/2006.
Trim: 2005 Toyota Land Cruiser 4WD, Owned 1 year.
Useful?
Pros:
Very good reliability, ideal for professional and travel purpose. Fully loaded, but only with realy usefull accessories. All you need is on the right place. Try it with diesel engine. It is a little bit less powerfull and a little more noisy, but it has a great gas mileage! Best ratio quality/ price !
Cons:
Original Dunlop tires are very poor (nevertheless confortable)
Not the best for sporty drive, very heavy. But you cannot have all on the same vehicle!
Overall review:
A very good vehicle for the everyday purpose.

You can count on big repairs as soon as the warranty is up
by Dan on 05/19/2006.
Trim: 2005 Toyota Land Cruiser 4WD, Owned 1 year.
Useful?
Pros:
Trouble free until warranty expires
Cons:
Major repairs that will leave you swearing off toyota for life
Overall review:
Both exhaust manifolds failed right out of warranty, huge expense. My local shop has already replaced a half dozen in my small community. Again, right out of warranty. Toyota customer 'service' has been a joke. They deny any issue with these parts. So if you still think you want this vehicle, tack on another $2500 or more to the actual price. Or better yet, select a company who won't screw you.
