Red Beast by Mike Plano Tx on 09/22/2011. Trim: 2005 Dodge Durango Limited 2WD, Owned 1 year.
Pros: the ride is excellent, the truck is not too big, but larger than its competators, the DVD and bluetooth is great, i wish it had the touch screen nav but the nav in it is great and works well. the 4.7 has lots of power. the seating is great with the 3rd row. i added the chrysler remote start and we love it, we have had it a year and beyond regular service we have not had to do anything else to it
Cons: i wish the gas mileage was a little better and that the storage behind the 3rd row seat was deeper and i wished i got the 5.7 instead
Overall review: the truck is well thought out and a solid truck and i would buy another one in a heartbeat,

A Fun to Drive SUV by Countryside on 06/06/2014. Trim: 2005 Dodge Durango SLT 4WD, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Handles and maneuvers well. Brakes and accelerates with little or no effort., 3row seating is adequate for periodic use. .AWD with the 5.7 V8 and towing package makes this vehicle a great multipurpose SUV.
Cons: Not much to dislike. Some surface rust at tail gate latch area, gas mileage to be expected for this size rig ,
Overall review: Fun SUV to drive. Great for road trips as well as towing needs.

Great Truck by Mike on 05/08/2014. Trim: 2005 Dodge Durango Limited 2WD, Owned 5 years.
Pros: love this truck on long drives, thats when its at its best... alot of power, rear DVD and built in Nav..
Cons: so so gas mileage.... the rear window is very narrow, lack of factory accesories after the bail out, they have been discontinued... not alot of room in rear when all three rows are up..
Overall review: nice turck, bigger than the old one, not too big but still has three rows

Great SUV Value by Senior Owner in Montana on 10/10/2013. Trim: 2005 Dodge Durango ST 4WD, Owned 6 years.
Pros: Gas mileage seems to be improving with regular maintenance and keeping tires inflated to 34psi. Interior and exterior have held their appearance/appeal. Still looks great shined up in the driveway. Head and legroom excellent for a tall guy like me. Good view of cars ahead and approaching from side streets. Nice, controlled, straight ABT braking. Good power and maneuverability even when loaded with family and luggage in Yellowstone Park. Fairly low upkeep costs.
Cons: Blew an exhaust header gasket at about 70K, apparently a common $400 repair on this vehicle. The broad windshield can be a rock magnet, so get windshield glass insurance when installed.
Overall review: I got it 2yrs old, off lease with 43K on it. 97K on it now. It has handled road trips throughout the Mountain West, and I have 50K on the current Goodyear Wrangler tires, so I'd like to get new ones before winter. I do some off-road driving for my job, and have not yet encountered a sensible situation it couldn't handle.
