great use vehicle that can do it all

Pros:
last of the rear wheel drives. can tow the boat to the lake plus haul the friends at the same time. traded off suburban for this. glad i did. fuel mileage great. 29 average on premium. solid car with 140000. rides like a dream. parts cheap and available. roomy for that 60 mile commute to work.
Cons:
no storage upfront.(bench seat) . had to upgrade rear coil springs. my kids tease me i have a grandpa car. well i am a grandpa. lol
Overall review:
good quality car thats overlooked on the lots. shop around. found this one for 500 less then blue book. why did ford decide to drop the line????

I just purchased this 1998 Crown Vic Police package vehicle. It has 111,800 miles on it and is in better shape than some much newer cars I looked at. It starts and runs smoothly every time. It may be called "old fashioned design" but I feel it is isnt broke dont fix it. Just the way this is works well.

Pros:
This car is roomy, reliable, affordable, comfortable, has the same body style as the 2007 models. It has everything one could ask for in an automobile. The only major repairs I've done to this car was through no fault of its own (hit a deer, damage from a small tornado, damage from a hailstorm). Oh, wait, did I mention this car is durable? Even when it's not going through the above abuse, since I replaced a 4x4 truck with it the car spends plenty of time jumping curbs, driving through fields, hauling goods, etc. It will take this abuse all week, then can clean up and take four adults on a 3,500 mile vacation with nothing more than an oil change. Parts are cheap and plentiful.
Cons:
Some folks think you're a cop, so it can be hard to get somewhere in a hurry sometimes. At 140,000 miles the clips on the wheel covers don't hold like they used to, have to kick them back on once a month. Interiors not as fancy as older full-size cars.
Overall review:
If you're looking for a solid, durable, dependable, affordable car, look no further.
