Sweetest Small SUV by Mark on 06/28/2005. Trim: 2005 Mercury Mariner Premier 2WD, Owned 1 year.
Pros: Handling, room and comfort and ability to carry cargo very well. The fuel economy is always in the twenty to twenty-four mpg range.
Overall review: The car has been superb in all areas. I have driven from the lowlands of the USA through the mountains. I know cars, and this one is a "must have" for SUV people.

Youthful SUV by Pastor of JR Highers from Portland on 07/10/2006. Trim: 2005 Mercury Mariner Luxury 4WD, Owned 1 year.
Pros: I love the design, I am 25 and it fits my age group perfectly. The enegine is great. Provides alot of room with the backseats down.
Cons: There is not alot accessories for the vehicle-especialy for being a Mercury. Alot of base line Fords have more accessories. Does not have an outdoor temp gauage, auto locking doors, homelink, etc. Also, the gas mileage is not so great. The Fusion has the same enegine and gets in the mid to high 20's. The Mariner gets high teens to low 20's.
Overall review: Great vehicle! Stylish, comfortable, and one of a kind! I got after market leather seats put in and it makes the ride even more enjoyable! Nice work Mercury for making a sweet car and for making it appealing to the younger drivers.

New Luxury SUV by Micah, Pensacola, FL on 03/22/2005. Trim: 2005 Mercury Mariner Convenience 2WD, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Very stylish, you won't see this one coming and going like the Escape. Nice fuel economy on this one.
Cons: Only complaint is I wish I had gotten the V6, acceleration quite poor with the 4 cylinder.
Overall review: Would definitely buy again and recommend this one to others. You won't be dissapointed.
