The Best Vehicle For The Money
by Korksteen ( Naples) on 07/13/2011.
Trim: 2005 Chevrolet Astro 2WD, Owned 7 years.
Useful?
Pros:
I bought a brand new 2004 LT loaded for the family vehicle, and then bought a brand new 2005 LS for myself. Each vehicle has over a 100,000 miles. Love them both no problems at all with either vehicle.
Cons:
Nothing.
Overall review:
Great buy for the money. Solid.

So much better than I thought!
by patch on 03/16/2011.
Trim: 2005 Chevrolet Astro Cargo Van 2WD, Owned 6 years.
Useful?
Pros:
It might steer like a crippled dairy cow, but you can take this little van anywhere, and it will hold the most amazing amount of stuff if you take the removable seats out. Quieter than the commercial vans because of the carpeting, you can drive it on a trip, sleep in it if you have to, and take almost anything/anyone with you. It's not a senior van, not a delivery van, not a soccer mom van, but can operate as any of them and still be free-spirited. The brakes are Class A for panic stops (don't ask how I know this) and the double doors are great for both a mastiff dog who doesn't feel like using the side slider...........
patch
Cons:
It steers worse than poorly, doesn't have tinted windshield (in sun country, because of the van's design, this is really an issue) and alas, is stout and funny-looking. Perhaps the truly great vans have to look like this. I wish they'd put a lower step in the side entrance.............
However, I still love the thing, and I'd approached the necessity for a van with absolute loathing, having had to drive work vans several times.

Overall review:
I'd buy it again.
