The ultimate sleeper by SubiGTWagn on 01/26/2006. Trim: 2005 Subaru Legacy Wagon 2.5 GT Limited Wagon, Owned 1 year.

Pros: I love the looks, feel, and performance of this car. Also, since I have the wagon, it is the ultimate stealth car. People just do not expect this level of performance in a wagon. I would receommend this car to anyone who needs space to carry people and/or run errands but want the performance of a sportscar!
Cons: I did have clutch problems at 11,000 miles. This was replaced by the dealer under warranty at no charge.
Overall review: I love this car and would receommend it highly!

THE BEST CAR I'VE EVER OWNED by RTS on 02/24/2013. Trim: 2005 Subaru Legacy Wagon 2.5 i Limited Wagon, Owned 8 years.
Useful?
Pros: Reliability, ride and handling, exceptional in snow, versatility, automatic transmission with manual mode allows driver to control the car in any environment, good fit and finish.
Cons: Cramped rear seat legroom.
Overall review: I purchased my car new. Eight years and 80,000 miles and still rock solid. The only repairs other than regular scheduled maintenance has been repair of the heated seat on the drivers side and replacement of a jammed rear retractable cargo cover, both done under warranty. One set of tires and one battery round out what has been done since new. I would recommend this car without reservation.

Awesome Wagon by An MSN Autos Consumer on 12/19/2007. Trim: 2005 Subaru Legacy Wagon 2.5 GT Wagon, Owned less than 1 year.
Useful?
Pros: 250 HP! Car is very quick. Very comfortable. STI without the boy racer looks. Very practical in wagon body style. I love the looks of the car. Excellent reliability and after market parts support. AWD makes the snow oh so much fun.
Cons: No MP3 player, or aux jack to plug in an MP3 player, although this has been address with the 07 and later models. Gas mileage not the best and requires premium fuel.
Overall review: I really enjoy this car. The morning commute is much more fun. I went from a Toyota Tacoma 4x4 (excellent vehicle) to the Legacy wagon. The car feels so smooth and the AWD inspires confidence to go through any situation. I was looking at Minis, WRXs, Saabs, and GTIs before decided on the Legacy. All those cars have their merits, but they were all small sport cars. The Legacy seems to handle as good if not better and offers a much more plush ride, while having more power to boot. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Excellent car by Kirk on 06/11/2007. Trim: 2005 Subaru Legacy Wagon 2.5 GT Wagon, Owned less than 1 year.
Useful?
Pros: The Pick up is nice and smooth once you pass 3000 RPM
Cons: The shifter sticks on occasion and ghrinds the gears if you get a little excited when driving
Overall review: This is my first Subaru and I am in love with it. It handles like a dream, driving up the mountain is a blast and i cannot wait to start taking the trek up to Mammoth Mountain next winter
