The British Invasion

Trim: 2005 Jaguar XKR Convertible, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros:
The breath taking, seductive lines of the body. This styling and the destinctive sound of the super charged power plant turns heads everywhere. Long distance driving is a joy due to the comfortable seats and accessible controls.
Cons:
Must rely on rear view mirrors fo visability with the top up...true of most convertibles.
Overall review:
After 35 years of driving various autos, my new XKR is the 2nd best vehicle I've ever owned. The 1st is my 2001 XK8, which I still own. My license plate bracket reads..."My other car? It's an R".

Super car
by Hauler from Houston on 11/22/2005.
Trim: 2005 Jaguar XK8 Convertible, Owned less than 1 year.
1
Pros:
The style, the body, the look.
Great touring car, fast, quiet.
Trunk holds two sets of clubs and two touring suitcases, with the top down.
Cons:
Top cover needs to be an automatic hardtop.
The back seat is small, but, hey, if you need a backseat, don't buy this car.
Overall review:
Can't wait for the 2007 convertible!

by Plastic on 07/19/2005.
Trim: 2005 Jaguar XKR Coupe, Owned less than 1 year.

Pros:
Styling is wonderful. Looks great. Turns heads while driving through any town. Need to go with the Supercharged version. 398 horse is just what you need.
Cons:
Very thirsty kitty kitty. Backseat useless. GPS slow and needs more detail.
Overall review:
Overall this car is a beauty. I live in Germany and drive it on the Autobahn all the time. Have to flash my lights to get the slow moving Porsche out of my way. Even at 190Mph still relatively quiet. If you never had a car with 400 horse, need to get used to pushing the gas down and zooooming away. Perfect car for the Autobahn.

Pros:
It's craft & styling is superb. Agressive yet graceful. Top fit & finish; very very quick and turns heads.
Cons:
Could use a horsepower boost to about 440hp.
Overall review:
An ageless powerful luxury tourer. Excellent auto.
