Could be better, alot better. by Upset AM owner that is scared to drive the car! on 03/11/2008. Trim: 2005 Pontiac Grand Am GT Coupe, Owned 3 years.
Pros: It does get up and go.
Cons: The front end can not be fixed or that is what the dealership I bought it from tells me. The strit keeps breaking. As owners of these cars I am sure none of us are 4-wheeling in it for this to be happening. The front end is loose. Again, I was told from the dealership, after a certain amount of miles on this type car it happens and there is nothing that can be done except keep tighten the bolts. WHAT!! No wonder they don't make them any more.
Overall review: Don't buy one.

Grand-Am not the greatest but definetly not the worst by Oscar on 08/21/2007. Trim: 2005 Pontiac Grand Am GT1 Coupe, Owned 2 years.
Pros: Great performing car, Interior is nice, quick 0-60, nice highway pull. Others should actually try owning it, you know, actually owning it, not just saying you own it and if your having all these problems with this car, you probably shouldnt be owning any car. This car takes car of itself for the most part, basic maintaining oil changes, mabye a filter or spark plug 50,000 in, these series II 3.4's are known to do over 400,000 miles worst case senario is probably a blown head gasket around 170,000 miles in if you constantly abuse and don't maintain regular needs.
Cons: Most aftermarket has to be custom, rims are a little too chromed.
Overall review: for the money, its a great buy
